“Roselily is a small restaurant with carefully curated dishes and a fun, inviting atmosphere. The entrance feels almost like stepping into one of the scenes from Alice in Wonderland, so you already know you are about to have a different kind of dining experience.

They do not accept walk-ins, so make sure to make a reservation in advance, for groups no larger than 8 people.

We visited for a degustation, and our menu included nori cigar, beets, chicken, agnolotti, pork belly, wagyu, portokalopita, and mignardise. Every dish was spectacular.

I particularly enjoyed the beet dish. The combination of fresh flavors and different vegetables was refreshing and very well balanced. For me, the jewel of the night was the agnolotti. It is served with onion broth, local mushrooms, sunchoke, olives, and feta. I usually dislike the flavor of cooked onions, but this dish completely changed my mind. The combination was outstanding and surprisingly delicious.

The mignardise, a selection of bite-sized sweets, was another favorite. I loved the contrast between the mango and chocolate flavors and how they came together in such a small dessert.

I also appreciated how the server explained the dishes and their ingredients. They invite you to taste the dishes with a specific strategy to fully appreciate the flavors. Sometimes they share stories about how a dish was created or fun details about where particular ingredients come from. Those details made the experience even more interesting!!

The drinks are worth trying too. We enjoyed the fresh lemonade and coffee.

Roselily is definitely on the pricier side, and the portions are very small, more in the gourmet tasting style. Still, the overall experience is absolutely worth it. I would fully recommend visiting if you want to try something different and explore food in a more creative way.

There is a parking lot available, including accessible parking.

“Love this place. Anytime we come for an Irish game, we stop here for at least a pint. This time we made it early enough to grab a bite as well. Scotch eggs did not disappoint. The poutine was fantastic and the meal was top notch. Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot to visit the night before a Game. Live music is usually there on the weekends as well.“

“I would recommend Ironhand for some events but I don’t think they plan for some things. We went to their brunch and bingo this morning which was nice. The food was good and we always love the atmosphere. I was really looking forward to trying the flight of mimosas. It started at 10, we arrived at 10:15 and by 10:25 they told us they were out of flights. There were still at least 5 tables and more bar seats open. Then 20 minutes later we saw people getting mimosa flights. I ended up ordering the mimosa bar which was too much champagne for me and they gave a very small carafe of orange juice. (Barely enough for 2-3 drinks) If you are having a brunch you should plan accordingly. I will be back but I hope things like this get figured out.“

“Our family absolutely loves Chicory Cafe. It’s one of those places that feels cozy the moment you walk in. We love bringing the kids, grabbing coffee, playing games, and just spending time together.

The espresso drinks are fantastic and never taste overly roasted or burnt, which is something I really appreciate. The food is always good, and we especially love the afternoon flatbread specials.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we’ve always had positive experiences with the staff. Chicory Cafe has become one of our family’s favorite places to visit, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for great coffee, good food, and a comfortable place to relax.“

“I was only there for about 2 hours or less but it was karaoke night but there wasn't a lot of patrons but the ones who were there really made me party their little group and I even join in karaoke. it made a bad day better‽

“I have to say the atmosphere and service was exceptional. I was not impressed at all with the food. We ordered the sweet potato roll and avocado rolls as an appetizer. The sweet potato roll was good and had good flavor the avocado roll was bland. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Though the flavor was good I think the chicken was slightly under cooked. I wish there had been more vegetables. My husband had the lobster, shrimp and chicken and said it was good. This place came recommended so I was hoping for more. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.“

“Good food here can be steep but great sushi overall, from someone who frequents Chicago often and gets very fresh sushi, Woochi offered fresh fish and good tastes. My significant other often comes here as well and he doesn’t really eat sushi so there are options for everyone!“
