“What a lovely find in a small town like Dowagiac. The old fashioned Soda Fountain setting is fantastic. The candy is even better! Locally made chocolate, easter bunnies, candy coins and so many more. It really added to the Easter baskets we did for the kids. “I have never had a bad meal at the Timberline. The walleye and perch are my favorite items, but the fried chicken is also delicious. At our most recent visit, our server, Ann, was very attentive but not overly friendly. My husband had escargot as his appetizer and raved about it. I had the coconut shrimp, which was excellent. Cooked to perfection. He had perch and I had walleye. Both were cooked perfectly, arrived hot, and were perfectly seasoned. They have a nice pour for wine (the glass was almost full). Prices are good for the quality.“
“Husband and I stopped in for dinner. It was a block away from the cabin we stayed in for the wknd. Husband got the prime rib was surprised of how good the food was and the amount of sides. I had the perch and I definitely would order it again. Fries are seasoned which I wasn’t expecting. So if you don’t like seasoning I’d ask for them not to add it. They had music bingo which was a nice surprise. Had such a GREAT time. We will definitely come again when in town.“
