McDonald's in South Bend

“This restaurant is what a Mcdonald's should be. When I compare it to the mcdonald's in my neighborhood, it blows them out of the water. The food here is always fresh and hot, tasty and well seasoned. On top of that, the drive through functions with good speed and accuracy.“

“When I went here the general manager was going around with one code asking all the employees to log on and fill out so that their store rating went up . I suppose that's industry-standard but at the same time that doesn't provide any accurate data or information. Other than that milkshake was fire Burger was fire typical McDonald's . #Winning“

“Friendly staff, great fries, order was as ordered. You must go to the register for refills. Burger was chilly, bathroom clean. Floor was being mopped as we were leaving, so we were careful, but it was excessively slick as if being mopped with greasy water“

“The management team did a good job while noticeably short-staffed and actively training new employees.

My food was excellent, despite my having to wait more than half an hour from when I placed my order at the kiosk: filet-o-fish, medium French fries with no salt 🍟, side of HotMustard sauce, unsweetened iced tea, small M&M McFlurry 🍦.

Only 3 customers ahead of me in line: one elderly lady and two young women whose order also seemed to have disappeared ...

Another family was already eating when I arrived.

A young gentleman brought an order that looked suspiciously like mine to the family seated at the center table. They gladly accepted the additional meal.

Once I had waited 30 minutes and six more customers had come and gone, I asked the manager if he knew what had happened to my meal. He told me that he remembered my exact order and that he thought it might have been given to the wrong customers.

Fortunately, the manager made it a priority to re-make my order and it was ready almost immediately. The food was perfectly fresh, and the dining room was reasonably clean.

Both of the managers reminded the young man to double-check that each order is correctly delivered to the customer who paid for it. It seemed like it was an honest mistake.

Overall, I was impressed that the managers were kind to their employees while making sure that they took good care of their customers. I thanked them and returned my table sign. I'll be back.“

“Usually fast and friendly service.I usually request no salt on my fries and they happily do it for me every single time.I also have two service dogs and they always give the dogs a large class of ice.One thing I do miss is the biscuits and gravy. I couldn't be happier they brought back the steak, egg, and cheese bagel. My bagel is unique to me.Steak, bagel no onions, no folded egg, sub round egg.Fries are always fresh out the grease no salt.Thank you 933 for the awesomeness that is you.“

“The best McDonald’s you’ll ever find in the USA!! Located in beautiful South Bend, Indiana, this McDonald’s was my first stop after flying into South Bend International AirPort after a long flight from Florida. As a hungry traveler I could not wait to sit down for a fresh hot meal. This location was an exceptional invite into South Bend. My food was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection! The employees were so nice and welcoming, I really wish my coworkers were like them. I was blessed with the presence of some locals from the neighboring property and after a short conversation with them I totally understood why South Bend is such an amazing city! The culture in South Bend is unlike any other place I’ve been and I have travelled a lot! I can’t wait to see what other marvelous places I’ll find during my stay in South Bend!“

“I was the only person in the store around 830 AM. Drive thru was busy. I ordered before I got there, but still waited 5 or so minutes for my food. Food was good. My English muffin was soft. While I was there, the employee had a fun, loud discussion with another customer about her food being nasty. Besides the food, the parking lot was also flooded, so very few places to park without standing in water. Overall, it's about what I expect from McDonald's, no reason I wouldn't come back to this location.“

“I love going into the McDonalds on Western Avenue in south bend , they are so very lovely there , I love going in , in the mornings and the morning crew is all of the older brown folk , they are all so lovely to chat and speak with, I heard the names but was not able to catch them wholeheartedly, but 100% the best employees there are the older folks , I love to just chit chat with them, and they are all so respectful, so sweet, working in fast food myself I understand how it is , and they do more then good for working and being just a bit older , will 100% be going back and they 100000% need to be recognized for how well they do, I have never ever had issues with this location, I alwyas choose to dine in, or just grab food from inside I do not like drive thru , and I over seeing their faces !“
