“We dine at this restaurant often, and the food is consistently top notch with impeccable service. Robert, the owner, is very hands-on—always engaging with guests, sharing his knowledge, and even stepping behind the bar to make cocktails. It’s refreshing to see an owner so attentive and involved. We’ve never had a bad meal here, except for this past weekend when my husband ordered the filet. Unfortunately, it wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect—it was rubbery and not edible, but Robert immediately had a new steak prepared and explained that they were testing a new supplier. He genuinely valued our feedback and mentioned that the previous steaks were a big reason we keep coming back. I ordered the whitefish, and it was absolutely superb—perfectly cooked and served over rice with a lemon white wine cream sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We always sit at the bar and love watching the bartenders craft cocktails. They are personable, friendly, and make the experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in St. Joseph. Occasional hiccups happen, but the way they’re handled here speaks volumes.”

“Attended the Thanksgiving Dinner at the campus dining hall. The food was amazing. There was very little waiting. Plenty of seats. Staff was awesome. Very efficient. Just a wonderful experience. “Yummy nuggets, spicy deluxe sandwich, fries, relatively short wait times given their amount of orders during rush hours, and the Southwest salad (preferably with nuggets) that not a lot of people get is actually filling & healthy & tasty! A true hidden gem. I won’t really recommend the milkshake tho too creamy and sweet. Also the pickup process could be a bit more organized.”

“I went there in person and by delivery. They have improved over time. Although I take stars down for the beverage dispensers when they run out of soda, or when I saw the place in person and saw how small it was with no seats. otherwise no complaints. Nice and quick service for me. I saw reviews from people over the past few years back and I have to say service has improved and changed in good ways over the years. Online delivery is my favorite as it comes in fast and I get exactly what I ordered, takes usually about 10 to 25 minutes depending on the online line. Still comes fresh, I recommend!”

“As one enters the Café it is a pretty average sized. A place big enough to enjoy as time slows down. Personally, I had a wonderful experience for the service was great for the way they treated me was without judgement or discrimination. Furthermore, they were very efficient for I receive my drink always within a 5-minute time span. Whether my drink be hot or cold it all depends on my mood, sometimes I just let my curiosity fly and explore the exotic drinks. The ones that seem too good to be true, only wanting to know how they taste like. When enjoying these drinks, I can't help but look around and admire the setting of the place. For I could see myself talking to my friend/s, or just trying to use the time to be productive and do some work. With how comfortable the seating it a complete place like nothing is is missing. Finally, I a place where I can say to myself “You be who you are truly are”.”

Let me tell you it was definitely worth it—if you are considering trying this place just do it! I did the tasting menu and less expensive wine pairing, plus a tartare and martini. Everything was excellent—flavorful, well balanced, and well paired with the interesting wines. Portions were filling for a tasting menu. Service was excellent. Very memorable meal. I come from a larger city and that meal would have easily cost me 1.5-2x at home.”

(Berrien County Michigan would be a great place to put another one). ;) Our first time here and we were greated with smiles, the staff graciously explained the menu and how it works, while making sure you felt welcome! The food was quick and delicious! The playing of the Nation Anthem at 12:00 sealed the deal for me. The atmosphere was one to be remembered for sure!
