A gem of a place, brings me back to Italian restaurants growing up in the Bronx. A must go and they are family friendly!

It was ok. I thought the food was a bit salty and the menu was bland. Nothing special on the menu. It's the nightly specials that would be more appealing. The pizza looked good. I wouldn't call it authentic, no carbonara, no risotto, just missing some of those.

I've heard a lot about this place over the years, and seriously, it's a skip for me. Pizza was mediocre. You can get the same kind of pizza at any local pub and spend way less. Beer is $4.75 for domestic, and that is just ridiculous. Go across the street to The Galley and get a Miller Lite for $3. This place probably holds some kind of sentimentality for some locals. It's nothing special. You can get better food at another family run Italian restaurant. Seek those out. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I hate saying things like this because this place seems to be so popular. I can not figure out why. I can make a frozen pizza more interesting than this. Again, I'm sorry to whom I've offended. I'm sure it's a favorite among some. Bright spot: The bathrooms are very clean and they provide very nice toilet tissue.

I had heard a lot about this place from its commercials on the radio and I finally went there.
It was cold in our booth and the service was slow.
Our food was mediocre at best and certainly no bargain. Overall I think the place is overrated and we were not impressed. There was no enthusiasm radiating from the staff on this particular night that’s for sure. Maybe it’s time to retire.

This is great Italian food. Tonight, I had the portobello ravioli in a white sauce. Delicious! I can't wait to go back again.

So, called 15 times today between 4p and 8p to inquire if a reservation is needed. Just goes straight to voice-mail. Are phones not answered?

Some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. Everything is made to order, so be prepared to wait a bit. A quality over quantity experience to be sure.
As of this review, they are only open between 4-8pm weekdays and 8:30 pm on the weekend. Be sure to plan accordingly.
