Wow! This place is phenomenal. A true gem in the heart of downtown Mishawaka. The bartender is so sweet and friendly and makes the best cocktails in town! Her current cocktail menu is full of tiki style drinks. Every one I have tried has been delicious! The chef is cooking dishes like no one else in the area. Everything was full of flavor and had me literally licking my plates clean. Do yourself a favor and come try this place out!Vegetarian options: Chef was able to accommodate my vegan friend and she said she loved her food.

What a gem! New and inventive drinks made to perfection. Delicious dinner beautifully presented. Great vibes. We will be back!

TL;DR: overpriced hipster joint with no unique features and no flavor in their foodI get it. The simple decor, the no-uniform policy for most of the staff, the "scratch" recipes, and the inconsistent menu. Sure, let me try it out, knowing that the true measure of a restaurant is how good the food is and how efficient is the sedvice. Here it is bland. I could forgive that it took more than half an hour to get us appetizers if the appetizers weren't lazy concoctions (a salad that consisted of a piece of lettuce with dressing over it, nothing chopped or prepped in any way). I could forgive that you didn't ask how my partner wanted her "wagyu" steak cooked - but it was bland. The salsa placed on top of the steak had the consistency of home made salsa but it's flavor tasted like you just pulled it off a store shelf. And the steak itself tasted NOTHING like the wagyu steak we've had both in Akihabara and in Chicago, and yet the price was higher in this small restaurant than in either of those metropolis. Furthermore, it seemed the chef feared spices or marinades of any kind. Focusing on my dinner of chicken and gnocchi - I wanted to like it. I did. The gnocchi was bland no matter how heartily it weighed on my stomach. The gnocchi tasted like nothing more than diced potatoes sans seasoning, barely cooked. The chicken though, this was egregious. There was zero flavor of any kind. In my youth, I prepped chicken via a George Forman grill for quick lunches during the week and this $20+ dish brought me back to those memories. But since then I've grown to know the wonders of adobo, Mrs.Dash, or any variety of Aldi's spices and marinades from all over the world, and I hope someday the chef that prepared our meals tonight might also find the joy of cooking food with seasonings, spices, and flavorings. Dessert was also decidedly mid, with a "NY Style Cheesecake" that lacked anything in the ways of a strong flavor but did have some cinnamon toast crunch sprinkled straight out of the box on top. All in all, we paid too much for worse food than most other restaurants in the area could provide, and for a plainer atmosphere. While I did like that it was 21+ only inside, so are most bars so this is nothing exceptional.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian - be warned this may mean just cutting a vegetable in half and serving it nearly raw in place of meat.Parking: Parking on surrounding streets seemed adequate for a weekday.

Craft One Half is the place Mishawaka has always deserved and needed. Larae and Michael combine an amazing selection of rotating cocktails with the best food in town. You must give this place a try.

I do not give 5 stars easily. However this place deserves it and I can't wait to go back. We got reservations for a celebration dinner which was a good idea but not necessary, they had room for dinner seated at the bar and a few open tables in dining room. Craft cocktails are clearly their specialty, however their menu was impressive too. Started with their Weekend Feature, Hot Honey Brussels and wow. Truly best Brussels we had ever! Husband ordered an entree from their weekend special, Chicken & Andouille Gnocchi, he loved it. I had a difficult time deciding but went with the Grilled Tenderloin. OMG it was fantastic. Grilled to perfection and the hash and apple chili glacé was incredible. Do not hesitate to come here for drinks and apps or drinks and dinner, you'll be impressed. Save me a seat!

I drag my family, friends, co-workers....anyone I can here, and we frequently go back for more. The food is amazing, the drinks are magical, and some of the best times we've had are when popping in to sit at the bar and chat with the talented, hard working owners who have clearly made their first year a success. I will always support small businesses, especially in the thriving metropolis of downtown Mishawaka and am looking forward to what 2024 will bring for them.

I highly recommend this gem in Mishawaka. The owners and staff are very inviting and make you feel at home when you are there. Every dish and cocktail I have tried has exceeded my expectations. This has become my go to place for high end food and cocktails in Mishawaka. Give them a try!

I’ve been dragged here with my friends several times and each time I’m severely unimpressed. The food is mediocre at best, with an extremely limited and overpriced menu for what you actually get, the kitchen is extremely inconsistent and needs to get their act together. Not only is the food like playing Russian roulette, but for being half empty practically all the time, the bartender is a vapid and hard to be around woman who needs an attitude and reality check who looks like she rolls straight out of bed to come to work, which is extremely unprofessional.

Again the food was outstanding. Our table had the pork tenderloin and I have the mushroom dish. Gilligans Island cocktail was very tasty, and a dragonfly drink is amazing. This is my go to for dinner When I went unusual dinner, options that are outstanding and flavor

Food and drinks were solid. Seemed like they were maybe trying to do a little too much with the drinks. Service was pretty good. They didnt carry any tequilas i cared for and werent familiar with some of the classics i tried to order. Ended up going with 2 of the ones of the menu. They were okay. Definitely creative but not very balanced. Not worth the $ in my opinion.

If you haven’t found this gem in Michiana you’re truly missing out! We’ve been frequenting COH for months and they truly never miss. The food and cocktails are top notch, interesting and often changing. Last night we experienced their 7 course chefs dinner and it was incredible. The work the chef Michael, LaRae and their staff pour into the culinary experience is definitely felt. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed! ?
