This place is not quite the 5 stars that some are giving it, but it’s good, for sure. The giant mozz sticks are giant, but I thought they were a bit lacking in the flavor department, and I could not eat my food after that because it was so much cheese. the marinara was good though. I had shrimp tacos by recommendation, and they were quite underwhelming in the flavor department as well, but they had a fantastic variety of textures going on. The shrimp breading was tasteless. The Mac and cheese was epic, and so were the fried beans, but the grilled cheese was also a bit underwhelming. We also waited 30 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us, but he did l apologize profusely for not realizing that we were one of his tables, so we weren’t upset.

Love this place! The staff are amazing, and they LOVE the dogs! The outside space is very eclectic and cool. One of a kind. The food is good and the beer is refreshing. Good selection of standards to quirky. A definite must stop.

We waited in excess of 1.5 hours tonight to be seated. We were told 35 minutes then 16 minutes. Then we found out we were take off the waitlist and finally they seated us out back and said we did not have to wait. The hostess asked us to take it easy on the waiter because they were bringing somebody from up front. We had two students from Notre Dame that had commitments and we needed to leave by 9. We were unable to secure a commitment from the hostess to be served by 10 pm. Understand we arrived about 6:45. We have always had great experience with the service and food. This is why we ranked them a 3. Hopefully, they will figure out their problem with seating people

Staff was wearing sunglasses and extremely inattentive. Food was cold and staff couldn't answer simple questions about what was in each item. Put everyone's bill on one check without even asking, took food away before we were even finished. Didn't give us silverware. Some plates were scalding hot and burned a friend. Second time being here and both terrible experiences.

This used to be my family's number one place to come and enjoy great food and service. Except, that for the last two times we had been here, we have run into the same insufferable and RUDE server. We as a family understand hospitality especially under the circumstances of restaurant etiquette. This server lacked such etiquette and at first was meant to be quality family time turned into something that destroyed everyone's experience and mood. Even after speaking with the manager, the server, to the last minute, waited to give us our bill as we waited and waited and STILL upheld a cold and dismissive facade. We do NOT come out to eat out as a family to complain and receive free food; we come to enjoy great food and even better service.

We used to love Evil Czech. Their tacos were our favorite part. It’s been about a year since we had been and we went last night for my birthday dinner. I was so excited because I have always LOVED their food. It was almost unrecognizable. The chicken tacos were horrible. They had no flavor and the meat was incredibly dry. I’m glad I only ordered 2. My husband ordered 4 total tacos and only ate 2 because they were not good. The kids all ate their food except for the chicken tenders, which she said were awful. For appetizers, we had the loaded fries… hardly loaded and most we had to just eat plain, buffalo chicken dip… meh, and the pretzel… used to be good but they’ve changed it since we last had it and it was basically flavorless bread. We spent over $200 (we are a family of 6) and that’s about average for us, but we won’t be back after last night. Sadly.

Fun and lively - we had a great time!
Cobb salad, burger with fried cheese and some amazing mac and cheese special. Washed down with some fab non-ipa beers - the prague, farmhouse and a coffee porter. Simply delicious!
We grabbed a 6 pack of variety cans to enjoy over the next week. Our kids had fun and the layout is super spacious.

Great place to stop in for craft beer and bar/American food. Busy vibe and fun atmosphere! With as busy as this establishment is, you would think your sever would neglect you and the food would be a little less presentable/edible but that is not the case! Do not let the line outside deter you at all!

I had to update my review from a few years ago, because the place has definitely changed. The food and atmosphere are basically the same, but the service is unbelievably bad. So bad, in fact, that we'll likely never be back.
There are typically several host/hostesses at the door, and they are nice enough (though I'm not sure why so many are needed). The servers, however, seem almost annoyed to have customers. For several years, they've been slow to take our order, and once you get the food (almost always delivered by a runner) you never see the server again. Our drinks were empty for a while, sitting on the edge of the table, but nobody cared, not even the manager who walked past. We eventually decided we didn't want to continue waiting for a second round, but since we hadn't seen our server in a while, my wife had to ask someone else for boxes. Eventually, the server appeared, but he didn't have the boxes, only a check. Finally, we were able to pay and leave. I would not have tipped at all, but my wife felt that was rude, so she tipped around 10%: usually we tip 30-40%. That won't be an issue in the future, as we won't be returning.

Blew into town for one night and their web site drew me in!! Awesome selection of beer, great food and desert. Had a flight. The pizza is the bomb and the carrot cheesecake was fantastic!! My favorite beer was the 10th Anniversary Barrel Aged Baltic Porter.

Fried green beans and the Mac & Cheese were good, BBQ platter was awful. Thought maybe our server was having a bad day but it was constant, and then maybe the kitchen was having a bad day - but if everyone is having a bad day, says something about the place. Maybe a fluke, we went because of the good reviews, but did not have a good time and were significantly disappointed. Was not worth the 20 min wait.
