I've heard multiple great things about this restaurant. I've seen pictures on Facebook and Yelp. My wife and I couldn't wait to try the food. When we arrived the place looks very small. We almost passed by the place. Hopes still high small places can have great food plus it's a hometown favorite. We enter and get seated right by the door while it's 40° outside. Still hopeful we order and get our food. The waitress was very nice, welcoming, and attentive. The food however was ice cold and bland. My wife has biscuits and gravy with side of hash browns. Homemade biscuits and gravy are what they're known for. Hash browns were cold and gravy was I've cold. It was like the gravy was made a week ago without seasoning and was scooped out of the refrigerator. I had the country skillet. My sausage was cold and whole plate covered in that flavorless gravy. We used salt, pepper, and Tabasco from the table and it didn't fix the food. Highly disappointed.

Went for Breakfast with some family from out of town. I ordered the half and half which is biscuits and gravy with hash browns underneath the gravy.. you think it would be amazing as they sell gallons of the gravy?! It was not good. It was unseasoned and cold. Salt, pepper, and hot sauce didn't even help it. I did not send my food back, I ate what I could. My daughter ordered the cinnamon stuffed French toast. She said it was good but filling.They say our party by the door which is cold and drafty. The place is a cute ma and pop restaurant, but small. The service was amazing! Our server was great. We paid for our food and left. I doubt I'll go back again.

Biscuit and gravy capital of Mishawaka

Very small place. Waitress tried to sit me and my friend in the back, although there were spots in the front. I felt a hint of racism in that moment as there was a white couple that came in after us and was seated in the front. I asked for the 2 seats available in the front

Great food always with a nice friendly smile and great coffee

They don't seat until your entire party is there. So don't show up early to be seated to save a spot, you will be waiting. Totally understandable.

Parking: Parking lot has maybe 15 spots. This is a popular spot so that fills up quick. There is street parking in the neighborhood so not really an issue unless you have someone who has an issue with walking. But you could always drop them off and park.

Kid-friendliness: Yes. High chairs. No alcohol. Just great food and family atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not at the front door but they have a side entrance that I believe is wheelchair accessible.

Best little hometown breakfast anywhere. Thank You! Had one egg, hash browns and one pancake. Freshest pancake ever as well as the coffee.
