I dont often write reviews. I was looking for Asian grocery and yelp sent me here. I was STUNNED to read that someone found our WF store racist and in need of inclusion training. I have changed my shopping habits BECAUSE of the staff. I have a fairly isolated life, and I am now doing another round of chemo; and, a side note, used to be a Master Chef. I have a weekly confab with the Cheese guy. He saves me slivers of something he tried, directs me to the best of the small samples they have wrapped and ready from the ends. The guys at the meat counter are pleasant and we talk shop while they trim and wrap my choices; they give me bones that they normally would toss for soup stock. I can't tell you how often the cashiers have said how is treatment...or because they know that I stop in before or after treatment for hot tea, maybe a croissant, they have said this is on us. The girl at the bakery saved me the last Demi French loaf when she remembered that she had not seen me yet on my big chemo day...I was late from chemo, and really appreciated that it was there. Little rituals motivate and ease getting through tough times. I have STR and many international students stay with me. I bring them here to get treats. WF has many detractors, but it is definitely functions as a local, family, grocery for me. Since this is already long, I would like to address the myth of WF being the " Whole Paycheck" grocery. Admittedly the produce is often high, and not in the best shape for that cost; this is not the fault of the staff. SOME of the protein can be higher than the local grocery as well, but are on par with the local butchers...but the staff is much friendlier and more customer service related than Eby's or OC Meat Market, and cleaner and closer than Lowery's. The canned and paper goods are on par with all the other stores. I am a french trained Master Chef, heavy concentration in pastry and bread as well. I cannot make better ciabatta than what WF sells, and the cost difference is negligible. I can make better croissants...but not a lot better...and who has 10 hours to make croissant weekly? The cost of their pastries is no different than the nearly $4 donut I buy occasionally at Rise N Roll. I am a foodie, and a small town girl. This WF is a really good one...because they have a management team that knows how to hire good people, and then give them license to be those good people, who happen to be at work, vs workers who's motivation is the task at hand, and maybe aid a customer. I can't imagine any interaction in that store that could be negative in any way from the staff...from the customers maybe.

Racist snobs. I wore my workout clothes here and they treated me as if I was invisible. When I asked for a specific product the clerk assumed that I surely couldn't afford it.This is a small town where many minorities can't afford to shop here so they don't know how to treat them. Get inclusion training or close the store. Go to whole foods in other cities to see how nice and diverse they are then shop here to see the difference.

Normally I get stoked to go into a Whole Foods, it's nice little treat since it's generally out of my tax bracket to do my actual grocery shopping there. They have a handful of things I go there specifically for, but wow they're hot food is awful. It's dried out from sitting under the lamps for too long and not really tasty either.

I did not have a good experience here. The customer service is not friendly at all and when I even spoke to a manager they did not want to help my situation.

I love this store! I wish I could afford to buy more of their meat, fish, poultry, cheese and produce offerings on a weekly basis. They WIN for freshness, quality, sustainability and variety.

If the price was better I'd be here all the time, we'll and I have a farm with lots of fresh food. But hey this place is good and does much to help local and environment so I'm a fan. Not to mention the sandwich they made me there was on point! Ray almost ate my sandwich he did such a good job!!! I got a roast beef with cheese Yum!! All the food was fresh and well yeah. You should check it out.

Dissimilar to the evolved experiences I've had with other establishments (especially grocery stores) within the recent past, I would describe my relationship with Whole Foods as blossoming. I have always loved businesses that embody their theme, execute their mission, and have always been disappointed by those that don't. So this is a definite score with Whole Foods demonstrating the former. Which is why I keep venturing back here. In the past when I would come to Whole Foods originally it was for just a few odds and ends generic stores don't carry or to treat myself. But then over time my purpose incorporated returning orders from Amazon as well. Each time that I would visit I would head over to the deli area for pasta salads, especially since they offer a great variety and change their menu selections periodically. Then as time progressed after inspecting the rest of the store, I found they also offer a great and very distinct selections. When I hear the word "whole" and then foods, I think of fresh healthy, and earthy. Which is what everything here is. Whole foods has a vast selection of not only organic and fresh foods, but I also like that they support local businesses promoting their products as well. They house many authentic, handcrafted, and homemade products with nothing overly manufactured. From their fresh authentic perogies, sauces, canned vegetables and cheeses, to their hot buffet with salad options all their foods are truly "whole" both nutritionally and in concept. And one cool aspect is a lot of the foods they carry are Mediterranean and Indian styled, with emphasized use of tofu/soy. One of my favorite areas within the store is their buffet, where complete meal options are offered ranging from flavorful roasted vegetables, legumes, fish with both boneless and bone-in meats. Of which are not just foods a person can purchase in avoidance of cooking but makes for a nice sit down full course meal, hence encompassing the word "whole" with their foods. However due to the freshness with much of what they carry the shelf life may be shorter than their conglomerate competitor's products. Overall they carry everything that many grocery stores offers such as salad bars, pre-made cold/and hot meals and categorized isles except with the revision of much fresher, and more exotic options. Besides CoreLife this is one of my go-to's for healthier options especially for a nice salad. I always encounter great finds when I venture here and the more, I come the more cool products I find. Thus, I will keep coming back and recommend this place for others to try out, and frequent.

Whole Foods Market has been one of my top grocery stores. When I was living in Cleveland 4yrs ago, this store was my go to for all fresh produce and flowers. Today I visited the Mishawaka store for a couple of items including a bunch of hydrangeas. I also enjoy their bakery as it is always filled with neat sweets and wholesome bread. Rus was the attendee at the baker center today. I always make sure I get my bread thin sliced too while in the store. I am happy here!

I've been coming to this Whole Foods Market (WF) when I visit the area but never wrote a review. For me, it's the best market in the area. Yes, it's a bit more expensive. However, I find that it's better now with the Amazon Prime discounts. Their 365 brand is outstanding, and if you shop the sales, you can make it fit within any budget. I try to come here and pick up groceries to cook at home with my family and find supplements. They do not have a Trader Joe's or Sprouts here, so it's nice to rely on the WF market. This WF has one of the smallest footprints that I've seen, which is the main reason for the four-star rating. While they have a smaller selection of items, they still boast an immaculate produce section, high-quality meats/seafood, and other goodies. They are exceptional at keeping the store clean and hygienic during the COVID era. I know it's just a grocery store, but it's worth the trip if you haven't been to one. Give it a shot for your health.Note: My mom does a lot of catering for her work at the local college, and she says it's the absolute BEST in the area. If you do any catering, price them out and enjoy their delicious food. She says the presentation and portions are five stars all the way!
