Small, surprisingly good Thai place in the heart of a dying 90s mall. Portions were large for the price and each dish could probably be two meals if you aren't super hungry. Authentic as far as my experience with similar Thai places in the pacific northwest go.

I absolutely adore this place. Sticky rice is my favorite treat from here, the second time i had Noodle Alley, i went inside to place an order to go and the woman educated me on their seasonal sticky rice selections! Mango sticky rice is best in the summer, so they offered me a taro sticky rice which was bundled and tied in a leaf and absolutely fragrant and delicious! Please don’t ever close business, i love Noodle Alley :)

I looked four places that had great pad Thai in South bend. This is located in a shopping center on McKinley avenue. I wasn't sure about trying this because it was an a shopping center, but boy am I glad I did. Food was great. Never had better Pad Thai, and the waitress there who I assume is the part of the family was excellent and very friendly. The food was so good I purchased a second helping to take home with me. I live in Michigan City but will be back often. Thanks to Noodle Alley for great food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere inside.

A few friends and I stopped by for a late-night meal, but they had run out of some ingredients and were closing early. One of the owners explained kindly and let us order from a limited menu to-go. We sat at nearby public tables.

As we ate, the other owner came out, apologized that we couldn’t dine in, and offered us complimentary Thai tea—which was amazing! Her kindness truly made our night.

The food was excellent, and we’re looking forward to coming back for the full experience. Highly recommended!

This is my second review on google ever. I’m posting this because the greater South Bend area needs to support these folks.

The food here is the best Thai I’ve had in a long time.

I grew up eating great Thai food in Southern California and moved to the area 8 years ago. I don’t trust food reviews of locals because I’ve been let down so many times. It’s not your fault! You didn’t know what to compare to. Now you do.

There is a new couple cooking here (possibly soon to be new owners) that are doing it right! First off, there’s only Thai food on the menu. A good sign.

We ordered papaya salad, green curry, pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and taro sticky rice in banana leaf for dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful (kefir lime, fish sauce, chilis). The curry was done so well (the coconut milk was creamy and not split from the oil like other places tend to be). The Pad Kee Mao wasn’t fried, thankfully. The noodles were chewy yet soft. I could go into so many more details, but if you’ve found this interesting at all, you should go. If you’re open to tasting what Thai food actually tastes like, then you’ll probably love it.

It may feel like slow service, but they are waiting on you /and/ cooking. It’s worth the wait. Honestly, it’s not that long. We also came in at 9pm and were their last customers.

I listed it as $20-30 per person if you’re doing the whole dinner works. You can get away with $10-20 if you’re keeping it simple.

Admittedly, I keep missing out on Taste of Asia’s open hours and Pinellia is my go to vegan Asian place. So no shade on those places.

This place has the best Thai food in town, super yummy, good portions and great price. However, they are never open and their website does not accurately reflect when they are actually in the building. On multiple occasions we have checked online to make sure they are open and have been super disappointed by the closed sign on the door. When they are open and ready for business, they are a family favorite
