I really enjoyed the food here. I grew up in South Korea, and the food is definitely authentic. I stopped in with my wife after ordering some desserts down the street at Westside bakery, and it was a nice impromptu date! Definitely stop in when it’s warmer out, because their outdoor patio area is nice.

Always fresh, tasty, and authentic Korean dishes. Homey spot, too. Not too busy for lunch and an outdoor patio when the weather cooperates.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff! The outdoor seating is really lovely, but you definitely come here for the delicious food made with love. Not a huge menu, but plenty of great options. Quick service and the homemade cheesecake (totally unexpected) was really good.

So good, southern Korean style food here. Don't expect veggies in your bulgogi. When bringing the heat expect more a salty/sweet

Great place! They have great bibimbap and a nice little patio to sit at. Their kimchi was also really good! Definitely a place you wouldn’t know about if somebody didn’t tell you, but I’m really glad someone told me!

Me and my boyfriend found this place sometime last week and learned very quickly not to judge a book by its cover! It was a small and older building, but once we sat down, the magic that has enchanted everyone else made sense. The food was incredible and high quality, amazing portions for the money spent, and the server was knowledgeable and kind.Cons: Due to the heat we couldn't enjoy their beautiful outdoor seating, and the inside is a bit dark, dated, and cramped, but charming, with the traditional decor. Curb appeal was a little lacking but a small facelift would make this gem shine even brighter. <3

I can't belive we've been in Mishawka for 7 years and just now had this delicious food. I can't explain it but a good home cooked meal left us elated for the rest of the day. The food was absolutely delicious. Best Korean food I've had so far. I feel like we will be life long customers now. Sunny is amazing, after our meal she spoke with us for some time and is such a sweet lady. We immediately went to Martin's and bought her awesome sauce and kimchi! This place is a must!

First time trying this place and it was not a good experience. I paid about $42 without tip for the kimchi jigae, the bulgogi, the banchana and nothing was good. The kimchi jigae had no flavor and two very small pieces of beef. The soul consisted of basically all cabbage and 4 thinly sliced pieces of tofu. The bulgogi had an okay flavor but still very bland and poorly seasoned. Usually bulgogi comes with carrot slices in the meat and other seasonings this was literally just meat with rice on the side. The bachana was okay but I think something might of been spoiled because one of the entrees smelled like it was roting. Will never eat here again

Love me some Sunny's! Try the Braised Hot Pork...if you decide to eat in, expect a variety of Kim Chee to sample. Also her sauces and cooking products are great and picked up some to go as well.
