A University of Notre Dame cop told us this was the place to go and boy was she right. At 8:30am Saturday morning as a family of six the place was packed as Notre Dame was playing Navy. We were seated quickly. The menu had so much on it from Eggs Benedict, Chicken and waffles, Steak and Eggs, and country fried steak. 11 year old nephew ordered spaghetti and meatballs from the kids menu. He was dissatisfied with the sweet sauce and only one meatball. The rest of us loved our breakfast. We had to remind the waitress a couple times about drink orders. The place was very busy on game day. Ample parking in the lot, great location. Will go again for the diversity of the menu!

Tried to poison me. I told the server I’m allergic to something. They not only didn’t follow, my order was soaked with extra portion of that item. When I inquired, they told me to just eat it.
Man always going here. Staff is so amazing towards me. The food is hot, fresh and fast. They don't rush you out the door

We went there for comfort food. It reminds me of an older style restaurant. 2 sets of booths down the center and another row along the windows. Tables in the back for larger groups. Breakfast and dinner served all day. Lots to choose from. Homemade soups each day. Dessert showcase as you walk in. They also own The Galley, which is right next door. Server was very responsive and polite. Offered suggestions on the menu. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. My mom got ham and bean soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. Both meals came out quickly and correct. The server came back to check on us a couple times. There were several other patrons around 5pm and a couple more as we finished our meal. The bill was just over $20. We will return again in the future.
I've came here a fair amount of times for both breakfast and dinner since I was a kid, but never wrote a review until now. I stop by for breakfast before church once in a while and yesterday was the best service I've ever had here! My Jumbalaya pancake dish was ready within minutes and was absolutely delicious! My server was super friendly and very helpful as well. I look forward to making this a regular Sunday Breakfast spot. P.S. I highly recommend the Jumbalaya!
