First time visit visiting from St. Joseph Michigan. I had googled a good place to eat and this popped up so I gave it a try. The server recommended the Born in the USA burger with fries. Cooked to perfection and was able to taste the garlic mushrooms, bacon and cheese. So delicious! The fries were really good too. Perfectly seasoned. Overall I am impressed with everything and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good burger. Price was a tad high but with the great service and flavors it was worth it for me. Atmosphere was great too. Love music so it was a win for me on that aspect. I want to thank Leah for her excellent service and recommendation! Hopefully she see this and smiles because she deserves the recognition. Thank you again and I look forward to coming back and trying a different burger.

Really wanted to like this place. Not to say I disliked it though.
Food was pretty good. We ordered a burger and cauliflower bites. The cauliflower bites were quite good and had a nice, piquant flavor profile. The overall impression of the burger was that of something one might find at a greasy spoon diner. Actually, it was very reminiscent of Bonnie Doon's burger. Would probably pair better with mint-chocolate milkshake or a Green River than a hazy IPA. Decent but definitely not the best you can find in town.
In terms of atmosphere, I was expecting a more hipster nostalgia vibe, with perhaps some Jazz, 60s Psychedelic or 90's Indie Rock playing in the background. Instead, we were treated to the sounds of 80s buttrock groups like Motley Crue, Whitesnake, and Poison. Not my cup o' tea but whatever yanks your crank!
Service was adequate but the waitress seemed kinda checked out and they were out of the beer I wanted.

Really good food but too pricey for what the place is. I’d go back for the food. Just not very often.

The menu has changed alot since opening...potato salad and coleslaw as sides are unavailable.
The beer selection has contracted quite a bit as well.
The lamb burger was removed...and added were loaded fries and mac and cheese with toppings. Big whoop.
We built our own sandwich this visit...my dining companion selected a fried chicken breast for he sandwich, i chose grilled....both were fairly tough and dry. Service was good.....the lone bartender somehow also served 3 tables in addition to ours...things arrived when they should and glasses were refilled and she was friendly and patient.
Value was somewhat low..at 70 plus dollars for 2 chicken sandwiches w fries and 4 beers was ok- of the sandwiches are great and they werent. I like vinyl but not enough to fall for it again.

I came in to pick up a DoorDash order which I ended up waiting 15 mins for and they received the order 20 mins before I arrived and I know this because they received the order when I did. The host or whatever she was asked if I wanted a water while I wait because the order wasn’t ready. I responded sure and never even got the water even after waiting for 15 mins and she walked pass me 17 times. I said I wanted to try their food but after that experience waiting on the next person’s order I think I’ll pass! Updated to response! I don’t care what your wait time is. I know How much time I waited and it was nowhere near 60 seconds I actually was recording to verify the time that’s why my rating for being late for picking up the order because you guys didn’t have the order ready was not affected because the third-party that I worked for can see how long I waited. I have no reason to come on here and post lies on reviews. Exactly what I said is exactly what happened. There’s a Facebook live of it as well. I don’t have to lie about a thing do better in your customer service.

Friday evening, before a Notre Dame home game is the setting. We're locals, trying to find a quiet gem close to home. So disappointed in Vinyl Tap & Table. Our first time trying the place out. So loud from conversations & it didn't seem to have any thing to do with it being because of ND home game. May be the high ceilings? The 2 women on the floor were really hustling, I'll give them that. Place was not fully packed, we waited for over 30 minutes for our order to come out. Bone in wings, & a burger with fries. Food was 'meh'. 2 wines with dinner, & an iced tea. Bill came to $50. No nice rock & roll quietly playing in the background. Price is Right on the TV, thankfully the volume was off. Restrooms were not quite clean, one had no paper towels in the dispenser, just a roll of brown paper towel on the counter. We always ask each other if they want to go back. If the answer is yes, we ask each other if we would get the same thing. Halfway through our meal he looked at me & asked if I would come back. We both agreed right away that no, neither of us would want to come back. Just our honest review. Nov. 7 2025.

This is by far the best burger place in st Jo area I have tried. Place is clean, cool vibe with a rock theme, and the food is incredible. Tennessee whiskey burger was delicious highly recommend it.

Best burger place in town! Fries are always perfect, burgers are juicy, and my to-go order was ready really quickly. Dine in or take out, you'll be happy you ordered from Vinyl Tap and Table.

My wife and I stopped here after getting straight off our plane from the South Bend Airport.
I ordered a Floyds Floyds Deluxe Beer and was surprised at the large amount of beer I got for the cost. The beer was ice cold and tased great.
I ordered a Tennessee Whiskey Burger and my Wife Ordered 8 Hot wings with fries. Both of our dishes were flavorful and the portions were large.
Our server was incredibly nice and friendly. She recommended my wife the wings and she was definitely not wrong. She even got us a little bit of the “Bat out of hell” Sauce to try which is their spiciest.
The atmosphere was very casual and the walls were decorated with Rock n Roll memorabilia. Very relaxing place to sit back and have a couple beers with a delicious meal. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

My boyfriend is a celiac and we ordered a gluten free bun on our order and before he got the burger the cook came out to inform us on the fact that the sauce has gluten and recommended a safe sauce, if we could’ve tipped the cook we would’ve, we were very happy with the service tonight
