My husband and I were out driving around on a beautiful day in the Mitchell Indiana area. I mentioned to him I would love to stop at a winery. We saw the sign for the Carousel Winery. It led us down a beautiful road with tranquil scenery. Sue, who is the owner was absolutely wonderful! The biggest surprise of all, was every single wine we sampled was delightful! Went there on a trip to Sping Mills. Every wine we tried was to die for! And I say that as a person who drinks wine occasionally. I can say that is not the case of places Ive been before. Do try to support her.

This is a great winery in the hills of Lawrence County near Mitchell, Indiana. The wine maker Suzy was a delight to visit with. Her wines have won many awards and are excellent. You will not only enjoy her wine but also the peaceful serenity of the location. It is a great experience and you should check it out.

Took a drive to this little winery located in a remote rural area. You won’t see any signs. Just follow your google map. After tasting several different wines, chose Sassy’s Sweet Apple wine. Delicious! ?

Off the beaten path but well worth the trip! Sue was very welcoming and made our experience great. Good conversation and great wines! I have lived on both coasts and this is the best cabernet I have ever had. At last a winery in Indiana that knows how to make something besides sweet wines. Although, the sweet wines were wonderful, too.

We have been buying Carousel produced wine for years. It is always excellent. We love their wine, especially the Watermelon wine. Mrs. Wilson is so nice and a joy to visit. Southern Indiana is beautiful so the drive through the country to their store is nice.

Went with my sister here today after seeing the sign outside spring mill state park. Absulutely fantastic Wine where u can truly taste the grape! Mrs. Wilson the owner is a very sweet lady with a lot of knowledge of her wine. Highly recommend this smal winery.

The original full bodied dry wines they make. My husband and I have not tasted wines like they have before. Sue Wilson is so knowledgeable about wines. She was so friendly and told us the history of her place. Will definitely return.

Talked to the owner today, very sweet lady. If you haven’t tried the wine it is a must try! If you like sweet red wines then the Red Tiger Red is going to be your go to wine for sure, I just wish they could ship it to other States but they only ship within Indiana. 🙁
I would give Carousel Wines and the Staff I met at the Swiss Wine Festival this past year 10 out of 5 Stars because they are that nice!
I will be visiting the winery this Spring and Summer and hope to be bringing home a couple cases or more of their fabulous wine.
