The first floor was ok but our room was on the 3rd floor. As soon as you step off the elevator a smell of animals hits you in the face. The smell was so bad we had to stuff pillows under the door so the smell didn’t come in our room. We also sprayed Lysol to help with the smell!! The mattress was worn out!! We Will never stay there again. We should have left!!!

This was my 5th time staying there, and the 2nd time having a plumbing issue. Toilet wouldn't flush. We did get moved to a room with a flushing toilet, but it was a bit inconvenient in the middle of the night. TV seemed to need a phone and app to function.?‍♀️ Good stay for convenience to good food, collectible shopping, and the carriage auction. Simple, bare necessities, nothing more.

Very nice hotel, an excellent restaurant within walking distance. Very quiet, the lake behind the hotel has camping on the other side.

If you leave your window open, the several varieties of songbirds will wake you in the morning. Breakfast is very good here, and the wifi is fast.

what an absolutely lovely "find" on our backroads adventures. All it took was seeing a sign for 'Amish restaurant - 1 mile" and decision for lunch was made. The buffet had a lot to choose from and everything i tried was delicious. our server Rosetta was an absolute delight. May have to do a return road trip (3 1/2 hrs)...... it was that good 😋😋

The room was dirty and stunk so badly, we ended up leaving before 9 pm, we didn't get there until 6:30. The motel itself was dirty and dilapidated, smelled bad. The elevator was a scary ride it would stop and then drop. Really surprised since its amish owned.

We have stayed here before when coming up to visit family. It seems this place isn’t what it used to be. The breakfast wasn’t much to speak of and the room didn’t have hot water. I realize we are here during the “off season” but the services should still be reasonably good.
