“All of the ice cream is phenomenal and their scoops are huge! Two scoops is enough to satisfy and fill you up (especially if you get one of their big waffle cones)! I especially love the toasted coconut iced coffee they have as well! A large coffee, milkshake, and two scoops in a waffle cone came to about $15.”

It really is better than any fish sandwich that I have found in Evansville, so its worth a drive even though its 75 miles away from westside. The fresh cut onion, and pickles on this oversized sandwich will create cravings, even if you don't normally like fish you will love it.”

“Good pizza, as well as there other options. Do not get confused there is just soft serve ice cream machine in the corner. They are not a ice cream place by they definitely are a pizza. The pizza is good even though there is not a lot of options. After Covid I am not sure if there is still inside dining or a buffet. But if you want a 100% option there is take out.I would recommend over a lot of the chains.”

“Stopped in for the first time for dinner. While eating, we saw a pizza come out to a table next to ours. It looked so good, we ordered 1 and took home for the next day. One of the best we have ever had.”

“The location is off the beaten path which may be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it, I like they have shops and a restaurant on site. Makes for a very relaxing and peaceful visit but may get stir crazy if you stay more than a day or 2 as not much else ”

“Food was excellent. The iced tea and hostess is why I didn't give a 5 star. More ice than tea and I couldn't taste the tea. for $2.99 I expected a better tasting tea and not as much ice. When the hostess went to seat me, since I was a party of one, she wanted to put me in a dark corner. When I refused, she said, " Sit anyplace you want." So, I found my own spot. I thought her attitude was a bit rude. I think she made a big deal out of it to another hostess, as they were looking my way and talking. A single person should be as important as a couple or a group. Rosetta was my waitress, and she was very nice. Even though it was primary ice she kept my tea glass filled. I might return, but my budget doesn't allow eating out that often.”

“Friendly staff! The food was great! My wife and I were with a couple friends staying down the street for a couple’s retreat. We stopped in for lunch. My wife and I enjoyed a full order of beef manhattan. The other couple also had beef manhattan and chilly. Service was great! Pricing was awesome.”

“Went on Thursday, march 21st at about 1:05pm. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had. It was tender, juicy and not greasy at all. The chicken livers were very good. The dressing was like homemade. The Amish bread was soft and fresh. I had pie for dessert and it was heavenly. Our server was very friendly and kept my drink refilled. The view of the lake adds to the ambience. I highly recommend this place and will be going back.”

Other options are not bad as well. Service is pretty good as well. Liv Myers, in particular, will give you fantastic service, so tip her nice. Bar is very nice, as is other seating. I'd love to see an expanded beer line, but that might not be in the cards. Overall, Jimbo's is one of the best places to dine in Washington.”

“Moving here 17 years ago from San Francisco, finding aplace that has pupusas wa not easy! But in Washington, Indiana of all places. Small place, very, very nice staff. Pupusas were as good as any I've had anywhere. It was 92 degrees and the power went out on that side of town, but that just added to our adventure! Prices are RIDICULOUSLY LOW! 2 people, 8 pupusas, 2 drinks = $19! Definitely on our "places to go" lst!”

“This is a very good Family type Restaurant. No Bar. The food is great and they give you plenty of it. I always have to get a doggy box and I do not have a dog. The Menu has a wide range of food types. Some may find some of the dishes a little greasy? We do not because that's how we cook them at home. It is home cooked food. The Salads are freshly prepared and very nice. Breakfast all day. My favorite; the breaded pork tender loin, side salad and German fries. I always bring the German fries home and sometimes part of the tenderloin to eat later. They give you a lot of food for the $. You cannot beat this place for home cooked style food.”
