“Waitress was new, but did well. It's a small diner in a small town. Watched locals come in and be called by name. Was warm feeling between the staff and locals. They were friendly to us as well of course. Had a tenderloin and philly. Both were good.”

“Coffee Shop and Bakery does not say how fabulous the food is. Small business charm , personalized service, but phenomenal food! Our group ordered lunch Tortellini Soup, Rueben, and Burger, and we were all very pleased. One taste of the Tortellini Soup, and I ordered a carryout for supper. A must stop every time I come home to Southetn Indiana. It's definitely worth seeking out this place. Limited tables, limited parking. If I were local, I would be a regular customer.”

“What an awesome place to get a great breakfast in Loogootee, Indiana. You will be eating with some fantastic local folks that will gladly speak to you if you have any questions. The food here is really good and the servers are the best. The place is easy to find using Google Maps. It is very well kept and very clean. Parking is easy on the street with a short walk.”

“Went on Thursday, march 21st at about 1:05pm. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had. It was tender, juicy and not greasy at all. The chicken livers were very good. The dressing was like homemade. The Amish bread was soft and fresh. I had pie for dessert and it was heavenly. Our server was very friendly and kept my drink refilled. The view of the lake adds to the ambience. I highly recommend this place and will be going back.”

“When we (out of towners) walked in everyone....even the kitchen staff, turned and looked at us, like a scene out of a movie. We smiled. They smiled back and from that moment treated us like next of kin. The food hits every tasty nook and cranny you'd expect from bar and grill.”

“We, the class of Loogootee 1976, held a dinner in honor of one of our class mates who is fighting cancer...There were aproximately 40 of us and the servers never messed up our drink or food orders. They were very nice and very good even on a sectional night (boys basketball) so they were extremely busy.”

“Great service, great views, the salmon BLT needed better bread and the bacon was too sweet ( syrup or sugar added to the crust and not needed )... appetizer chicken wings were very very good!!! Steak nachos off the appetizer menu also good, great steak and the other components were pretty good, tiny amount of guac and too big of a glob of sour cream.... My spicy shrimp pasta dish, shrimp were cooked perfect and great but the pasta sauce no spice at all and it was ok, pasta was good but the sauce was just off.... Great photos to look at and a good sized barParking: Parking is on the lower level so it's a little uphill walk and then to the ramp or stairs to enter the pro shop/restaurant”

“CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!! Cashier rang as for a certain price and when we sat down, saw the receipt she charged us double! She didn’t know how it charged double, it might of charged more for others too and didn’t know it.”

“Arrived 1 PM. A couple items they were out of on the buffet but they were quickly restocked after arrival. The different foods I tried were fresh and quite tasty except for one item. It was some kind of fish and I just did not care for it at all. Everything else was very good and especially the crab rangoon. Over all I was pleased with my visit and will go back. Currently the buffet is only from 11 AM to 3 PM.”

“Small towns do it right. Had a great blizzard from this fine establishment. The workers took their time making it which I appreciate. I watched the worker fill the ice creams all the way to the top of the cup so I had my moneys worth. It had a ton of mix-ins and was mixed well. Appreciated this.”
