“Had some of the best ice cream at French Licks! The Pecan Pie Ice Cream was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had! The base for it was so creamy and the pecan pie filling was just that! Delicious Pecan Pie complete with crust! Sooooo Good!”

“Buffet yesterday was amazing! Salad bar was fresh and full and pizzas were hot! The cinnamon was perfect for dessert. Definitely recommend for anyone while in French Lick who loves pizza. Price was extremely reasonable.”

I know Godfathers isn't the first place most think of when someone asks about best pizza in valley but when cooked to order there's no competition. “I’ve been truly thinking about this review ever since this past Monday evening. My friend and I had a dinner reservation at 6:00PM Monday evening. The young lady who seated us was very nice. The server/waiter Micheal was Excellent. My friend and I shared a meal as neither of us can no longer eat a full individual meal. We shared a Ribeye steak with baked potato and salad. She received the salad and I took the baked potato. Both were very well prepared. The ribeye steak was ordered “medium”. The steak was a little overcooked but more importantly, the steak was both stringy and very chewable. (Somewhat) tough. I just think that for the price of one meal ($115.00) plus gratuity that your selection of beef could be better supervised. Also, one of our seated neighbors shared a rather loud telephone conversation which to me took away from the enjoyment of our evening. I know you can not control other fellow guests but it would be nice for that excellent establishment that you provide if cell phones were turned off during meals. Respectively. Charles S. “We go here as often as we can for breakfast even though it's 1 hour away. The food is always good and buffet stocked. Everyone is friendly and willing to accommodate as needed. It's like a small getaway being in French Lick. We love it!”

“We were siting then the waitress was really nice. sadly, it was nosey with a lot of kids. I had a mac cheese and grilled cheese, and my other party had a Roben. then we had a smash burger. and a side salad which everything was hot. the one thing I wish they had for my person that likes diet was diet mountain dew or a diet dr pepper. which strangely I through that was part of the coke product. then we had for drinks was 2 waters and Arnould palmer”

“There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different. We were all very satisfied with the presentation and taste of our meal.
The portions are massive so be prepared to take some home or be advised, you could share with a friend.
The service was efficient and our food came out pretty fast. Plates were good and hot.
The price was very fair for the large portions.
The decor of the place was the only bland thing in this authentic mexican restaurant.”

“Xandau Coffee & Creamery is a nice little spot located inside the resort west
Badan springs. so you’ll need to park at the resort area to get there. They serve Starbucks Coffee along with a variety of other coffee options, toffee drinks, and flavored beverages.

The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, making it a great place to grab coffee and unwind while visiting the resort area. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re nearby and looking for a good coffee spot!”

“Bakers Corner catered pizza for our late night snack for our wedding August 26 2023. Everyone complimented the pizza and asked where it was from! The staff were great to build the order with and stayed open late for our request. We live right outside of town so it was great to support a local business and have them so accommodating for our wedding. Thanks so much! It made our farm wedding complete! K&D”

“The winery is a must to do, if you like wine or distilled alcohol. The wine slushes go down nicely on a hot day. They offer roughly $7 dollar tasting of all wines if you choose to try all or just a few. They do not offer free snacks/crackers, but you can buy. They are closed on Tuesday.”

“Tonight we ordered pizza bowls from Papa John’s for delivery. A bit later, Brook looks out the kitchen window and here comes our delivery boy WALKING in the yard, not a car in sight! Brook goes out to meet him and come to find out, he drives a low sitting car and didn’t think it would make it up our driveway without dragging. Now, instead of calling us (assuming our # was printed on the ticket) OR driving back to the store and calling to let us know he didn’t think he could make it, he parked his car at the bottom of our driveway and WALKED….or I should say HIKED….up our driveway to deliver our pizzas! That right there is job dedication!! We didn’t catch his name and I don’t think I am friends with any of the workers/owners but he needs to know he’s doing a GREAT job!”

“I came with a big group and got to try the white cheddar cheese nuggets, loaded fries, the signature Ballard’s burger with fries, the white chocolate mocha cheesecake, and some red wine. I was very pleased with the whole experience.”
