“First, I don't get caught red-handed. Cash and checks only no credit/debit cards. Ice cold beer in a rustic cabin like setting. Lots of taxidermied game on the wall and even a few select turtle shells. We had the catfish and it was outstanding. Dinner salads are top notch. Homemade bread and butter on the table while you wait. Wait staff and bartenders extremely friendly. Will be back.”

“Chavas is the place to go when I am super hungry!” I love going to Chavas, it is like a qudoba or chipotle but waaaaay better. The parking here is spacious as is the seating. The building was clean and well taken care of. The food is very good. The burritos are MASSIVE and you can get anything on it you want. Chavas has that authentic Mexican food vibe that qudoba or chipotle can not compete with. I love their hot sauce selection.”

“We've stopped by a couple of times when we're in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It's a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn't always the case with "dairy free"). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper.”

“Ramen Night at Cafe Pina... once a month they do this. Wow... who would've thought that Ramen noodle bowls could be so delicious. We will be going back for this every time they do it...”

“My husband and I have been a few times now. Everything has been great - chicken, baked potatoes, sandwiches, fries. It is a small place and can get crowded, but it's a small-town bar/restaurant I'd recommend. Clean with a warm atmosphere. Great service.”

“Tell City Pretzels is a great place to take the Grandkids for a tour. It was educational and the kids loved making their own pretzel! The new soft pretzels are a new favorite also.”

“Loved this place. Had the biscuits and gravy a half order it was still pretty big and really good. I also had the Belgian waffle that was good too. They gave me the wrong topping which our wonderful waitress caught before it came to the table but gave me a free one with the right topping to take home. Thought that was awesome. My hubby had the Philly cheese steak and said it was good. Everything our table had looked and tasted great. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and so helpful since it was our first time there. We plan on coming back soon. The restaurant was very clean and cute.”

“Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good bar selections. Didn't think the smoked foods had much of a smokey flavor. BBQ sauce on the pulled pork was very sweet. Wings were well cooked. Mac n chz was bland with a watery sauce.”

“After living in Jasper nearly my whole life, I'm ashamed to admit that I am only just now able to say that I've eaten at Snap's for the first time. But hey, better late than never! Lol. My grandmother took me out for lunch and highly recommended that I try their "gator bites"... Not gonna lie, I was slightly apprehensive to confidently order alligator (for the first time, too) in Jasper, Indiana. But since she couldn't say enough positive things about them, I gave in and ordered them as my main dish... Long story short- OH MY LAWD WERE THEY AMAZING! Definitely did not disappoint. Overall, they did a great job leaving a positive first impression on me. Now it all makes sense why Snap's is considered one of Jasper's staple restaurants. “This place is ok ,but I left my number for this Woman to call me now my phone is constantly ringing from manager coughing terribly asking me about Brian Heaton and me going over to his house to play Texas Hold'em 3 years ago. “We were there on a Saturday evening and the special was BBQ chicken. Was pretty good BBQ chicken for chicken fixed in an oven. It took way too long to get your meal, unless you were a regular. They got great service. We were from out of the area so we waited for about 40 minutes to get our food. While others around us got their food much quicker. As they seemed to be regulars.Saturday night special was way over priced 2 pieces of chicken and french fries was around $16.00.This is a small local bar and everyone was friendly, except for the bartender.”

“I cater several lunches a week. Fazolis did not make my catering order. I found this information out 15 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered. I called Jimmy John’s and they made me 15 sandwiches, cookies, and chips in 25 minutes to cater to my lunch. 5/5 stars! Thank you for being so flexible!”

“We really enjoy the atmosphere, service and pizzas here; however, they are so unpredictable with their hours of operation. We have been there a few times now thinking they were open, because the website said they were, but when we arrive, they are closed. Very disappointing.”
