You guys should advertise that you are close for the season, because my husband and I drove out of our way and it’s close, but per Google is OPEN.

We first arrived there late but me and my wife ordered appetizers and drinks. Appetizers arrived about 45 minutes later then the waitress took our food order. Food didn't show up until another 45 minutes later and my wife got the steak burrito but she was served the shrimp burrito. We understand that people are busy and understaffed but this was unacceptable in our opinion to not at least offer a discount. This place is poorly ran and not attention to detail. I do not recommend coming here.

Nice location. It shouldn't take over an hour to receive a basket of chips and salsa, which by the way, are commentary at any other mexican restaurant. We waited for our dinner over 2 hours in total. Not sure if our waitress was overwhelmed, or kitchen was understaffed, or if our waitress forgot to put our orders in. Other people were getting better service from others, so who knows?? The only reason we stayed was because very little was open and we were hungry. Food? mediocre at best. The Mexican corn, which was more of a topping for chips, had good flavor. Our waitress blamed the kitchen for everything. Sad, the location overlooking the lake was the best part of our experience. I would never go there again, except for maybe a drink.

Shrimp tacos were delicious. My favorite things about this restaurant are the views of the lake and the friendly service. Will definitely return.

We have visited this lovely restaurant twice and both times had a very pleasant experience. The desserts and drinks we had delicious. Our grandkids really enjoyed the fried ice cream.

Services was fine. Food was okay, depending on what you get. Some of my group got the steak quesadillas and fajitas and they were okay. Another person in my group got the beef tacos and it was bland. The salsa leaves a weird taste in your mouth, I believe they use can tomatoes and it taste like the metal can. Definitely over priced for the quality of the food.

Stopped here while vacationing and boating. 6 of us. Service was fast and very, very good. We had chicken, steak and beef tacos which were all very good. The mahi tacos were outstanding. The quesadillas were kind of greasy but no complaints. Served with small cups of beans and rice which was the perfect size. They need a sign on the water so non locals know it's a restaurant. We cruised by there at least 6 times before realizing we could eat there. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Would have eaten there more than once if we would have known about it.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, one is immediately captivated by the serene beauty of the lake it overlooks. The shimmering waters reflecting the sun's glow, the tranquility of the setting, all promise an experience that could have been so memorable. Unfortunately, this potential is starkly contrasted by the less than stellar experience that awaits within.Aesthetics aside, our dining experience took a sharp downhill turn right from the get-go. Upon placing an order online for the convenience it supposedly offered, I was met with an unexpected surprise upon arrival. The restaurant, it seemed, didn't hold up their end of the deal. In a surprising turn of events, they informed me that their online order timings were incorrect and they "don't accept orders." This lack of accurate information and communication was the first red flag. The blatant disregard for customer convenience doesn't stop there. The service, particularly from an older staff member, was less than satisfactory. Rude and unaccommodating, her demeanor did little to alleviate the frustration caused by their mishandling of online orders. The curt responses and dismissive attitude were a stark contrast to the welcoming ambiance one might expect in such a setting.Moving on to the food, the menu seemed promising at first glance. A variety of dishes that should have tantalized the taste buds, unfortunately, fell flat on their promise. The food, to put it plainly, was disappointing. The flavors lacked complexity and depth, leaving a lot to be desired. The dishes were uninspired and the quality of ingredients seemed questionable. It was as if the kitchen was more focused on getting food out the door rather than ensuring that what they served was up to par.Overall, the whole experience at this restaurant on the lake was a letdown. The charm of the setting was overshadowed by the poor customer service, the miscommunication around online orders, and the subpar food. If you're looking for a lakeside dining experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The restaurant's shortcomings are too significant to overlook, even with the stunning backdrop of the lake.To the management of the restaurant, I would strongly recommend investing in staff training, especially around customer service, and rectifying the online ordering process. In a competitive industry where dining experiences are just as important as the food served, these issues are significant drawbacks that cannot be ignored.Would I recommend this restaurant? Sadly, no. The potential for a great lakeside dining experience is there, but until these glaring issues are addressed, it's a hard pass from me.

Good service bad food. Margaritas are decent. Very overpriced for Mexican Indiana food. The only reason this place is open is because of its location on the lake.

Atmosphere was great! We love sitting outside on the water. Service was good. Margaritas were fab! But my food...No one should consume the amount of grease I had on my tacos. Holy cow! I only had two bites and the rest was thrown out. So disappointing. I want to love this place but the food was just nasty as hell. We have been here twice so far and my food was terrible the first time too but I don't feel places should be judged after only one visit. But now two times?..no thanks. We will come to have drinks but never for the food now.
