They were down to only few waiting staff and were fairly busy, we did have to wait some times for our food. The food was extermly good and our waitress when she wasnt busy did come up and check in on us! other then wait, perfect place to eat!
The people and the food was great
Oakdale Bar & Grill on the Oakdale Dam is a prime spot to ride your motorcycle- there is no bad route to this location. Clearly an old building, it has a cozy bar, but the star of the show is the patio. Amazing view of the water outlet on the hydroelectric dam, people fishing, live music stage, and seating options...
20 minutes for grilled chicken strips. and the next 2 refills took 15 to 20 minutes also. they are not busy, only 5 customer this. this is unacceptable. the cooks are just messing around when I went in the kitchen. get it together or hire new help.
All the years I ate at Oakdale ( since the 70s ) My favorite meal was the frog legs! I'll be back if and when they have them on the menu again!
The fries were nothing special but the cheese curds were excellent. Best dam burger I’ve ever had.

Bluegill was great. Mashed potatoes were Luke warm. Country fried steak was okay. Cheese curds and onion rings are great.

If one restaurant I do not like to go back to the Service was rude. Very rude. There was two
People In our party, my wife and I the waitress tried to see us at a table with one chair. I asked if we could get a second chair and she said no she offered to let us sit on barstool, but my wife is handicapped and cannot get On barstool because of her bad knees, this restaurant sucks when it comes to handicap people

The roast beef sandwich was a little too salty and my fries were almost cold when delivered to the table. But I still had a great experience. Hoping to get better food next time. :)
