“The winery is a little hidden gem in Indiana. Amanda - aka “The Janitor” who happens to be the owner was phenomenal. Kristina who was with Amanda was just the same with a friendly face and smile that made you feel comfortable and at peace as you enjoyed their amazing wine, food, and slushies. We went to Whyte Horse the day after Christmas and we felt as if we were walking the streets of “Whoville”… no exaggeration, so festive!! The entire menu was changed in accordance to the “Whoville Theme”. Apparently Whyte Horse Winery changes the theme seasonal.
We (wife and I) often have no issues traveling to wineries for the experience as we have traveled to over fifty wineries across the Midwest and Eastern United States. Whyte Horse Winery was well worth the 1 1/2 hour + drive. A drive that we will undoubtedly make again and several time thereafter.“
