Under new ownership and the food is excellent. Best hot and sour soup around. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Terrible! Salty, no flavor canned mushrooms, veggies totally raw. There's a difference between crispy veggies and raw. Egg roll nothing but cabbage, greasy noodles and the worst greasy , horrible pork frid rice I ever had. Left our plates sitting. Couldn't even eat eat. Don't go there!

Worst 'asian' food... it seems from other reviews this must be under new direction. The food was not edible! Just super salty and soggy with no other flavor. One dish was supposed to be spicy, it tasted like the others, gross with no spice. Its like someone is trying to cook Chinese who has no clue what they are doing. What a complete waste of money! I called and was offered a replacement but can't imagine wanting to eat anything else there, it would have been nice to offer a refund. Don't Waste Your money go elsewhere!

BE WARNED This is NOT Chinese food! I'm not sure who is doing the cooking but I don't think they know Chinese food at all. It is the absolute worst take out food I have ever had in my four and a half decades on this planet. We could not get past a few bites. We don't waste food but it was inedible. The food was soggy, all three menu items tasted the same with slightly different levels of sweetness though they were supposed to be distinctly different dishes. All the sauces tasted like soy sauce and rice vinegar with varying levels of sweetness, yuck! No flavor. The rice tasted like yesterday's rice with some sauce thrown on top of it. The crab rangoons and potstickers were okay but I doubt they're made in house. Don't waste your time don't and waste your money if you want Chinese food. Go ANYWHERE else.

The old Mooresville Dairy Queen was transformed into a Chinese food restaurant years ago. As of today, the name (Hong Kong) is the same, but its under new ownership. They kept the name Hong Kong and the food is WAY better! They have the best hot & sour soup. And any breaded meat is way different and way better! It is very light and crisp! So good!Loved everything I've tried so far!The only drawback is that it's closed on Sunday - but since it looks to be family owned & operated, they deserve a day of rest! Most of their business seems to be takeout, so there's always room to eat in the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Many optionsKid-friendliness: Kids allowed and welcomeParking: Very close parkingWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. All one level. No curb or step into buildingDietary restrictions: They easily accommodate changes (additions or subtraction) to menu items.

Do NOT recommend. Food was not good. Chicken teriyaki was not chicken teriyaki. There were no veggies with it.The plate was drenched in what tasted like barbecue sauce. Waitress never came to ask if we liked or needed anything. She stood over by another table with AirPods in her ears and on her phone with gloves on. Will not be back.

The only place within 20 mins radius besides super busy sit-down family restaurants, open on Thanksgiving (besides Marcos)! For those of us with poor planning and tired souls not wanting to cook food at home on a holiday, this was just the ticket. Prices are about 20% cheaper than Doordash shows. Avg meal with rice side is $11-13.

Our food was really really good! We got the sweet and sour shrimp and general sos chicken. Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to!

I confirmed by seeing others reviews but I knew immediately new ownership had to have taken place because the garlic chicken is a new recipe that is just like Happy Wok and absolutely different and completely worse than the original owners family recipe. The lo mein is not the same either, they used large udon noodles instead of the original owners thin curly lo mein. I am sad to say i will not be returning because of this. This was my favorite place in town. This saddens me greatly but I wish the old owners happiness and luck with what they moved on to.

Used to love this restaurant but with new owners prices are way higher and food quality ain't even close, won't ever order from there again!!!!

No Pressure

With how small the portions were, the quality should have been higher. There were small chunks of....chicken, that wasn't the same type of meat still chicken...not from the same place. I asked for hot orange chicken(as an orange chicken enthusiast I know how hot it can get) there was no heat. And the fried rice burnt. Next time I'm opting for buying the ingredients and cooking it myself.I could also taste the soap in my cup of coke...

I ordered teriyaki chicken, got BBQ. And the rice was burnt. For the price, quality and quantity did not match up

The service and food is not near the same as it used to be with the original people. The food quality has went way down, doesn't taste the same, certain items have completely changed not just in taste but different styles completely. My co workers and I used to get their food weekly if not a few times a week and not a single one of us will be going back until the original people are back and the food goes back to what it used to be. Very sad to see this place go downhill so quickly.
