The fried green tomatoes are my favorite dish… they use goat cheese and sweet chili sauce, like WHUT! I love seeing this place thrive. The waitresses are the best also. Hometown diner like no other!

I saw a video on Facebook about this place, so I decided to take a drive up from North Vernon and check it out. Great little place. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with wheat toast. It was big omelet and it was delicious. The two ladies I met were very friendly. I'll have to make another stop there sometime for lunch.

not a fan of the community silverware caddy on table as who knows who touched it coughed on it etc. food served lukewarm. tasted like canned gravy and warmed up premade biscuits. price is expensive for the quality. I spent $17 on a meal with tip i could make for $2.

I have ate here numerous times and could not be any happier with the food and service.my friends come down from Indy just so we can go there.Always looking forward to what we will eat the next time can not recommend this place enough.The chef has a great twist on comfort food.the servers are always amazing too. I was trying to take a picture of me and my friends outside And the waitress came out and took it for us. I LOVE this place Can’t recommend it enough❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Down-home comfort food is always...well, comfortable; and the Green Hill Diner is a cut-above comfort food and even more tasty! Although we've been only twice, the staff's Hoosier hospitality and friendliness were on display each time! We've received well prepared quality offerings, reasonably priced, using locally sourced vegetables & proteins. And don't miss the homemade white country gravy, it's not only hard to find, but theirs is yummy! And a plus for my tastes, breakfast is offered daily, until 2:00pm. Lastly, check-out their Facebook page for daily menu specials & more up-to-the-minute information than their website, which among other info., contains their standard menu offerings.

Only issue here was the pricing. Kinda expensive. We will go back. But at 44 dollars and sharing an entrée and a bowl of soup. Plus two soft drinks. We'll it was not cheap.
We've been here several times since we discovered it a couple months ago - and will continue to come. The staff is really friendly, the food is really good and the atmosphere just chill. Been here for Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch.

OMG my first time here and it was delicious! I got the fried chicken biscuit with hot honey and it was so juicy fresh and hot! If I could rate higher then 5 stars I would! I'll be back again and again I also want to add how comfortable they make you feel. Just like being with family at home.
