On March 25, 2025, my son and I came here for a quick bite. I had the Salmon Benedict with fresh fruit and my son had the Buffalo wing starter. The food was delicious, my Benedict was creamy and the sauce was yummy. My son's only complaint was he wanted more. But I explained it's a starter not a dinner. He's 13 so he eats a lot. I think there's a compliment in there for the wings. He's can be very picky. I would recommend this place. I forgot our server was very quick and personable. We will be back.

So my experience is this. We went in and they asked us if a table was ok as they had no booths available. So we sat down and talked and looked at the menu saw some things that sounded good and figured out what we wanted. Well about ten minutes in another group of 4 came in and they sat them in a BOOTH in the other dining area they had closed. Fine. Well they proceeded to get their drink order and bring it back to them and take their food order before anyone even acknowledged we were there. We left. Went to sunshine Cafe and had a wonderful breakfast with the food served to us in a shorter period of time than it took for us to get tired and leave.

Now I may revise my review IF I ever decide to go back

So this was one of my favorite restaurants ever, but after my last visit, I have to change my review.

First off, my waitress was rude and sloth-like. On a busy Saturday morning, they cooked our food in less time than it took her to take our order. Also, she kept interrupting us and making us repeat what she said. She looked like she had just finished a 24 hour shift in an ER.

My food was terrible. It was all cold. The gravy was good, but my country fried steak was chewy and thin and incredibly disappointing. My pancakes tasted like packaging foam.

The noise was almost unbearable. I gave up trying g to have conversations with the people at my table.

I have suggested this place to so many people for so long, and now I feel like I need to contact them all and warn them that it isn't what it used to be.

The beef Manhattan was excellent! Red potatoes were used for mashed potatoes. The shredded roast and the bread was so fresh. Portions are very generous. And the price! I can’t see how they can provide an exceptional meal at the low of price. Service was excellent. Atmosphere has a rural diner feel. This is a must try in Muncie.

Stopped in on a recommendation of a friend the food was bland and I've never experienced a restaurant where you have to assemble your burger yourself the fries were weird and the bacon and cheese to my "double bacon cheeseburger" was melted to my top bun no cheese on the burger patties

Was excited to try a new place while visiting my daughter in a town that needs some options. Looks like it could be cool from the outside and I had pre scanned the menu online and was ready to try their corned beef hash.

Coming through the front door I was expecting a trendy peace and love type vibe....which would be nice and frankly expected located next to a college campus....I was disappointed. An expressionless young lady in a soft voice asked 2? Walked us to a booth put the menus on the table and walked away.

Ok, maybe the food is good....nope. Extremely disappointed. For $12 I got canned corned beef hash, which is gross, two eggs, frozen to skillet hash browns and an uninspiring slice of French toast. 8oz of fresh squeezed OJ @$5.

I REALLY wanted this place to be good. Epic fail. As much as it pains me to say this....Denny's, IHOP , et al are far superior choices for breakfast. One of these days Muncie!

Food was phenomenal
Service was great
But the music Chef was listening to was absolutely amazing, brought my wife and back to the mid 90s, by far the best breakfast music we have ever heard in a restaurant. Thank you. (It was Notorious BIG)

Great selection. Like eating here when time permits given their hours of operation.

Mary shouted from the front counter several times disrupting atmosphere, no attention to detail. She was also seen sticking her hand in the air and scratching her armpit then grabbing silverware for another couple that walked in. The gravy on biscuits and gravy was excessive and lacked flavor. Staff was casting trays of food on their shoulders to tables with their hair touching the food.

Kid-friendliness: With me as a kid I have only gotten respected with everyone. Costumers, waiters and waitresses, where I am, the manager was amazing.
