We also shared the Margarita Flight and loved it (we had the hot spices left off of the passion fruit one). The Brussels sprouts are worth the upgrade for a side. Service was also excellent. “Yes, I would recommend The Chug, every staff member that I have encountered have been easy going and kind, as well as being humorous which help make the experience better. However, Rachel that works Wednesday nights has the worst egotistical attitude. I’ve never met anyone who has intentionally made fun of a customer as well as belittle them. As an owner of The Chug, I would remember to remind your staff about their place as a bartender. They do provide customer service and that comes along with human decency and a kind attitude. Thank goodness the second bartender, (I don’t recall her name, curly haired woman) was there to provide us drinks. She is someone who you should use as a reference when hiring new employees. Thanks for all the good nights prior to this night in particular. I will still go to The Chug in hopes that people like Rachel are not working.”

If you ask me, you must try my personal favorite entrées: their Chili Cheese Étouffée(w/crawfish!) or the B+B entrée! Also, you certainly mustn’t sleep on their Peanut Butter Pie for dessert, it’s addicting!! And they give free samples of any of their entrées too, so never be afraid you might not like what you order. Stop in, receive a warm welcome, and treat your palate as you should!”

I lived in Alabama for a long time, and have eaten in almost all of the southern states, and I have to say that this is the best soul food I’ve ever had, and the prices are very reasonable. The 2 Buffalo sandwiches were wrong when we got home which was upsetting so I ordered 2 more through DoorDash and took the other 2 wrong ones to work for lunch due to a picky eater. When my DoorDash arrived I had a note apologizing with a complimentary brownie, the ability to remember names and orders even though hundreds go through a day is amazing. Known for their statue of Paul Bunyan, this bar serves all the usual bears and has a fairly deep liquor shelf. Their food is out of this world. I personally recommend the ribeye sandwich and fried mushrooms.”

Jason and Nicole were thrilled to help and allowed me to place custom order over the phone. They normally don't deliver small orders like this, but they offered it to me for a small special fee given I live out of state. I was blown away by their graciousness! The top notch quality of customer service they provided is not something you find very often! THANK YOU for the exceptional service and rapid communication to make this happen. In spite of this the dining room was in perfect condition and the team was keeping their cool. The guy who took my order let us know ahead of time they were running behind. I think one of the team members might have stayed late to help. In a world where customer service is nearly non existent I was really impressed with how your employees were working. As a customer I didn't feel tense or annoyed and could see that everyone on staff was working hard. Do not take these employees for granted! Please tell them we left this review!”
