Cool vibe, great drinks and good food! Had Mac and cheese and fried pickles for an afternoon snack while driving through. Did not disappoint. I had the triple jam cider and it was great and perfectly dry.

Elm street is a great local bar with great food and service. We went to the Maybelle fest last weekend and had such a good time. I hope they do more events like this. Elise was very helpful with making sure our table was cleared and cleaned for us to have a seat to watch the performers. Great hospitality and service from manager Lindsey as well!

What a great spot. Massive selection of beers and mixed drinks. Food is fresh and tasty, Mac and Cheese was a highlight.
Highlight of the visit was our server Serin (sp?). She was super witty, full of sass and jokes. IMHO she turned it from a generally positive brewery experience into an AWESOME memorable evening. Will be back and hope to be seated in her section!!

Not sure what happened , but the food is not great . The menu completely changed . 15$ for a small burger and an handful of tator tots is wild. Our server took our order brought us 1 drink refill and never came back to our table. Another server saw us siting forever and took over our table .We were there 3 hours total for 2 mediocre burgers and 2 kids chicken tenders to bring home that they forgot to order when we asked them to and made us wait an additional hour for them. The second server was apologetic and gave us a discount . That was the only good part of the visit . Also several employees took shots together while we waited . That part normally wouldn’t bother me if guests were taken care of . Also my food was served on an old China Christmas plate that had a huge chip.(weird)

Appetizers were delicious! Couldn't have been any better, but, unfortunately, when it came to main dish, the brisket cheesesteak, the meal took a nose dive. It didn't have any flavor, tasted like it was baked and not smoked, at least a day old, burnt and greasy. It wasn't good.
Usually, we enjoy our meal from here, but last night it was way off.

This place is a destination for those who appreciate a creative non-comercial vibe. The food was AMAZING! DELICIOUS smoked wings, briskit, smoked pulled pork and margahrita pizza. The craft beer offerings were complex and delicious. Sat at the bar and met some cool people and enjoyed excellent conversation.

Have heard good things about ESB, and as a first time visitor I wasn't disappointed. Food was pretty decent, and on par with what you would pay elsewhere. I don't drink much anymore, but my son liked the selections that he tried. We were there on a Thursday evening, and I really enjoyed listening to Annette sing. I plan to come back and hear her perform again soon!

The food is always great. There's always a large variety of craft beer.
Vegetarian options: Guaca-Hummus is delightful.
Kid-friendliness: We take our toddler every time. She loves it.

We had lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, close to Christmas.
You take a seat and then wait for service. I've never seen it before, and I don't think I'm a fan. It took a while to get service. There seem to be much better ways you could do this, if you don't want someone waiting for customers.
So, the waitress was good, kept the drinks topped up and made sure everyone had everything they needed.
I'm always disappointed when they have Coke products but not Coke Zero. At this point, I'm wondering if Coke really wants to keep producing that product.
The food came, and the fries were not good, overcooked but cold, (choose the tater tots) the pulled pork sandwich was not great (seemed undercooked). The brisket cheese steak looked great, so I probably should have ordered that as a wrap.
The place also seemed cold, although that was possibly psychosomatic as I was told it used to be an icehouse.
Overall, I wouldn't go back if I had the choice. Glad I didn't pay for it.

Great food, drinks, and staff. This is my new go to place. Loved the ambiance as well. And can't wait to hear some live music there.

Stopped in on a whim with my cousin. She just moved here from Illinois. I have been taking her around every other week to try a new place. And let me say.....WOW had the meatloaf special wrapped in bacon and smothered in mushrooms with garlic mashed potatoes. The BEST meal I have had thruout the Muncie Restaurants.. I come from Chicago where Food is Chicago's Specialty. And it was so great to have a meal here that matched. The Chief is Top in the game for sure. He even came over to speak with us, as I bragged to the server about our meal. This is a Top Tier 10 in muncie. That you Elm Brewery and Chief & servers for a great night, last night. Will be back to try another of his specialties.
