This place was a super clean and appealing environment! The food was delicious and we left stuffed because of the great portion size! Great prices on beer too!

Me and my family went to this restaurant for dinner and the restaurant itself looks nice but the service and the food was disappointing. The waiters look rushed all the time even though there was only 3 families ours included. We waited about 45 minutes for our food and they got many of our orders wrong and forgot many of our stuff the food was not worth the price nor time. Disappointing. They also cussed a bunch in front of little kids.

In an empty restaurant, we were sat at the table right in between the bathroom and the kitchen. Bleach water spilled in the kitchen and seeped under the fake plant wall they have, which bleached my handmade bag and soaked/ruined the contents within. I also got bleach water all over myself since I didn’t realize my bag would be soaking wet. Food was alright, but not special. Olive Garden has a more “authentic Italian” feel than this place, with equivalent quality in food. I will not be back anytime soon.

Waitress was so sweet. However, I ordered the carbonara and my husband ordered the ravioli al Roma. my carbonara was NOT Italian it was pretty much Alfredo sauce with eggs mixed in, that had scrambled. All I ask is that you change your menus to say that you use cream, and don’t pretend like it’s authentic Italian. The ravioli advertised a “light cream sauce.” My husband compared the consistency to gravy. Definitely not light. Maybe just stick to the pizza??

This place is awesome great ambiance especially for a college town. Pasta de Salmon is fire. So is the pizza!
The food is very tasty, the service of the waiters could be improved.
Wonderful food! We ordered take-out/delivery and everything came piping hot and fresh. Best Italian food in Muncie.

Okay - the service is rather good. The atmosphere is weird - is it a nightclub? A lounge? A pizzeria? A trattoria? Well no one can tell because they try to do everything… but cannot master at a single setting.
The food however - wasn’t the best. I ordered the Gnocchi and it was a greasy mess… I mean extremely greasy. You can actually see the oil float on the dish. I’m rather a snob for authentic dishes - and let me tell you, the amount of grease on this cannot pass as authentic Italian cuisine. It resembled a cheap version of Buca Di Beppo - which isn’t even real Italian to begin with, it’s more on the lines of New York Italian food developed here in the states. Olive Garden feels more authentic than both, despite also being American Italian food. In summary - I wouldn’t justify spending $20-30 for this food especially in Muncie. We just have two real Italian restaurants - but I’d recommend Olive Garden over this place any day, or just drive down to Indy/Carmel and eat real Italian food.

I am extremely impressed and grateful that La Casa is located in Muncie. In a region predominantly featuring chain restaurants, La Casa offers a refreshing alternative. The pepperoni pizza I ordered exceeded my expectations for a small restaurant situated on Ball States campus, tasting remarkably/shockingly similar to the slices I’ve enjoyed in Manhattan. Muncie residents should appreciate having an authentic Italian dining option beyond the typical chains like Olive Garden, Domino’s, and Papa John’s. I eagerly anticipate returning to try some of their pasta dishes and whatever else is on the menu.

Okay first off for muncie, this should be a 5 star. Hands down cheaper than the only other Italian food in town. Olive garden has nothing on this. Some people say amazing joes has pasta too, but i ate that and will never go back. This food tastes fresh and the chef lived in Italy for stint working as a chef. So if you want better than olive garden, fresher than olive garden, and cheaper though only slightly, then this is the place to go. Honestly, best Italian outside of my own kitchen in at least an hour drive. As someone who has eaten in Italy and learned to cook Italian from my own Italian grandma, this hits the spot. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars, is for the simple fact i have high standards for good Italian food. There is only 1 Italian restaurant in the world i give 5 stars to za za in florance Italy. So again for muncie, this is hands down a 5 star place. I hope this review helps draw business as they seemed like nice people and brought a taste of Italy to me.
I ate their truffle ravioli in cream sauce.

We apologize for not trying this sooner! ? It was delicious. We will be returning! Great to see something different in Muncie off the beaten path. a great option and well worth going. Everything was cooked to perfection and the workers were very nice. Our meal was $43 (small kids pizza, appetizer, and a pasta dish)
