Stopped in for lunch after placing an order ahead online. The process was a bit confusing—despite selecting a pickup time, I still had to let the staff know I was there before they started making my food. Kind of defeats the purpose of scheduling ahead, but 🤷♀️.
That said, the food was solid. My sandwich was a bit messy, but still tasty, and the fries hit the spot. Overall, not a bad experience—nothing to rave about, but I’d definitely go back for a quick and satisfying lunch.
Fast service Great food

I went to the Muncie location on July first it was about 15-20 minutes prior to close (still hours of operation). Man with dreads that was cleaning the grill was clearly unhappy a paying customer pulled up while cleaning the grill. He started shaking his head and saying things I knew was directed toward ms us being there. Wait a second and look up and he locked the door before we could even come in. I called and he answered I asked to speak with a manager. She gets on the phone I told her it was unprofessional and she said she didn’t know about it and she would see what was going on (she was standing right by him and watched him lock the door). I’m sure the general manager/owner wouldn’t be very happy that doors are being locked and customers being refused during operational hours. I go here often and was very disappointed! Don’t know that it’s worth returning.

What a disgrace. I was hungry and just wanted to grab a sandwich real quick. It was 9:50 I pulled up front and started to walk in. An employee walks out and tells me they are closed. This guy was rude and wasn't going to allow me to place an order. He said they were closed. I asked what time do you close. He says we're closed. I said so you close at 9:51? He said we're closed due to the holiday. As I walk away a customer walked out of the store at about 9:53. All I did was start to come in. This guy wouldn't let me in. I went in the other door and attempted to get his name but he had no name tag and wouldn't give his name. So I snapped a picture. There was no cause for this behavior. I drove down the street and walked into Chick-fil-A at 9:59 and received a meal at 10:00 with smiling faces. So Penn Station, Chick-fil-A thanks you for your rude unwilling staff that can't work through their normal scheduled hours. I'd say it's pretty obvious that this isn't the kind of staff that promotes success, unless we're talking about the success of the competition. Definitely do not recommend this store.

Some of the best staff in Muncie, making some of the best sammiches in Muncie! People forget about Penn Station, it's out of the way and only one in Muncie... but we got the best one!! For real peoples, if you haven't been, GO.. if you haven't been in a while, GO BACK! I LOVE the Italian, hot, Multigrain bread, Mmmmmmmm! Free cookie Tuesday? I believe. And when the pacers win, bring a friend! Loved that deal.
Better than subway... just saying.
The last few times we’ve went the food quality has declined a ton. The fries are tiny, short pieces of brown something but they aren’t fries. And the sandwich’s are flooded, even when you ask for lite mayo. I’m so sad bc it used to be awesome
