They changed ownership (they're now called Curry Nights), and the staff has no idea about what is vegan and what is not on their menu. They weren't even able to provide us with an allergen list so we could check if items had dairy. It's very likely they put butter in everything. We ended up leaving as the waiters kept ghosting us and didn't come to get our orders (we were there with omnivores and they ignored them too).

Came for my birthday. The service was great and fast. The waiters were very friendly and understanding of our horrible pronunciation.
Parking: Large number of spots outside with a few handicap spaces.
Wheelchair accessibility: Door is too small for an extra wide chair, but a standard size should fit fine.

Ordered the tandoori fish. It was salmon and dry as as a stump.

Great Indian Cuisine! If you want some authentic and great taxing Indian food look no further. This place has a great menu, great prices and a friendly + attentive staff. 10/10 recommend

Excellent service, clean restaurant, succinct yet diverse menu, quality food, friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back or ordering takeout here in the future. My whole family came out to eat here under my suggestion. They weren’t sure they would like Indian food but everyone enjoyed their meal. Great job.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ny family member uses a walker and there was plenty of space in the restaurant for him to move around and store the walker while dining.

We had the Tikka masala, garlic naan, Kadai, and the rice pudding. Everything was delicious and filling. A standard dish like kadai will fill you up. I had the kadai at the medium spice level and found the spice heat no worse than a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendys. I gave 4 stars because the pricing was a little high for a middle-class family.

We've had Indian food all over and found Sitara among the best. I'd like to try the buffet one of these days.

Tonight was my first time trying Sitara since I have moved to muncie. I have heard nothing but good reviews from my peers.Unfortunately, it appears that the quality of the food I had was subpar. I don't blame this on Sitara though. I blame the lack of interest in anything other than taco bell in this town. Over the years I'm sure the recipes have been diluted and dumbed down for their average paying customers.. Middle aged white boomers who want something ethnic for that eclectic edge.I ordered a chaat and a mushroom curry. Both "hot". Maybe that was hot for old people but it was mild for me... And I'm expecting Indian hot! The chaat was flavorful but not enough to wow me. The curry contained canned mushrooms and was barely salted. On top of that you can tell a proper masala was not used. This was anything but authentic. It felt very heavy on my pallette and was very disappointing.I'm hoping this was only a one off and I'll give them another shot. I'm not optimistic however. I've narrowed down the crowd they are trying to please and it's far from Indian.Oh well, muncie for ya
