I have not eaten at Steak 'n Shake in years and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, hot, and "Yummy'. The staff was also extremely pleasant and helpful. Super clean establishment.

Tried to order just a burger but the kiosk only sells cheeseburgers. You can take off the cheese but then you still get charged for it. Gave manager an opportunity to help me and her words were " thats the only way we can do it" Voted with my feet and will never go to a steak and shake again, wont allow my kids or grandchildren to go. I interact with many people per day due to my job. I am going to tell them not to go to steak and shake as well. Keep your cheese.

Since this restaurant chain chose to get rid of their wait staff, we don't go anymore. Now you have to order on a kiosk and go get your food at the counter. No thanks!

Food quality has declined greatly. This restaurant constantly messes up the order. The manager has the worst customer service. She doesn’t admit to being the manager to avoid dealing with issues. No one wears hair nets. A very unfriendly staff Unapologetic about the poor food quality and service. This restaurant has gone downhill fast within past two years. Very sad. My wife recently found a hair in her burger. I used to love this restaurant but enough is enough

I love steak and shakes burgers, fries, and of course shakes. Crisp fries, classic burgers, and cool shakes. But, it's self service now ironically with the attempt at classic dinner atmosphere. The dinner feel falls flat when pressing buttons to get my order

I placed an order online. Went in to pick up and was ignored so I went through the drive thru. They tried giving me 3 different orders before I got mine. It had the wrong sauce and the fries were limp and cold. Went back through the drive thru and was told it was my fault because I ordered online. They replaced the fries but I was told it would not happen again if I ordered online. The only thing you don't do for yourself inside this Steak 'n Shake is prepare the food. Fast food is too expensive to be horrible. Most places I go to when ordering online make my food when I get there. Need to do better!
