The veggie omelette is delicious! I got the healthy eggs and you cannot taste the difference. Portion sizes are big, which is rare nowadays. You definitely get what you pay for. Fair prices and really good customer service. Will go here again.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian options for those of us on special diets.

Was seated and waited to be waited on . Sit there and waited no one came to table for drinks or anything another couple came in and was seated next to me.after a few minutes the waitress came out got their drink came back with their drinks then took their order then finally came to mine. Got up and walked out. Went to red apple they have great service there at red apple. Not at sunshine cafe

We found a bug in our food while eating. We just thought they should know they had bugs in their food. So we just stopped eating picked up let them know paid tipped and went to leave. And when we said something the employee(manager I believe they said)gave us attitude like it was weird we even said something. She made a face and looked at us as if we were weird and we said it is still on the bowl if you need to see it. And she said no I believe you. Then asked if we needed a refund continuing the odd and annoyed look. We weren’t looking for a free meal we had already a good portion of the meal(though we wished we had not) anyways so we did feel we needed to pay still. And we still tipped because it was not our waitress who is in charge of the food so we saw it was fit to tip her. We said no that it was fine and started to walk out and i turned to look at her and she just gave us an annoyed and weird look. I felt it was an unwelcoming environment and an unclean environment to serve food given the way our food was given to us.
I had a drs appointment in muncie, were always looking for a new place to eat. She picked Sun Shine Cafe. We ate in,waitress was awesome, very professional and very polite. Food was spot on. They give you plenty. I got a tenderloin to go and it was fabulous. We'll be back.

The food was good and the restaurant itself was nice. It is a little small, but it was full when we arrived and even fuller when we left with a waiting list. Our server, Gabrielle, was fabulous. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. He actually brought out extra napkins without being asked. It was one of the most positive experiences we've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Thank you Gabrielle!
Parking: Parking was difficult only because it's a popular location. But we ultimately found a spot and all was well.

I absolutely love Sunshine and the people who work there are so lovely. I highly recommend the steak and eggs or the smoked sausage and eggs. The coffee is amazing as well! Get there early because they get busy!
