Service not great. Asked for ice never received it for my tea. Couldn't find waiter to pay our bill. After food delivered only checked back once, that's when I asked for ice!

We were there for Sunday brunch and overall it was a fun experience. It is a step back in time - the dining areas are nicely decorated in the time period appropriate for the house. Almost no noise which was nice and very much appreciated. Service was excellent and very attentive. While the food was OK it would be good if they could improve in that area. If they could this would quickly become a very busy destination.

This was our 1st visit to Neely House and we were somewhat disappointed. The bottle of white wine was not at temperature, plus we had to ask for an ice bucket (which did cool the wine). The waiter did not bring us any bread plates. The stuffed trout and swordfish were good, but not outstanding. When the waiter served the Creme Burlee, he just set the ramekin on the table, it was not on a plate - the presentation was not attractive.

This is a hidden gem. Visiting Muncie while my daughter had tryouts at Ball State. Our brunch was truly incredible. Memorable! The lobster Benedict was seasoned to perfection. The Benedict with sawmill gravy was delicious!!! Brunch is rarely memorable or overwhelming, this truly was!

As always the food was excellent. The service was lacking. Had to ask for part of my order 3 times. Had to ask for water and coffee refills. Server seamed a little unorganized. This was our 3rd time there - second for Sunday brunch. Both times for brunch the service lacked. The dinner server was better but not excellent. I would recommend for the food. I do hope that the service improves. I will give it one more shot.

Terrible service. We went there with a few friends. One hour after we ordered the waitress finally brought our orders but she didn´t bring anything for my wife and asking her, she said she forgot about that order. It took one more hour until she finally brought my wife´s meal. We could´nt eat together despite paying a huge amount of money for thi meal. Horrible experience. Will never go there again. The foof was just OK and it was´nt woth of the price.

Our second anniversary in a row eating there and the entrees we re excellent. Very disappointed to arrive home with my elderly mothers creme brûlée to go, only to find it was not even in a container but rather had been dumped in the cardboard carry out box and looked very unappetizing to say the least. Not even covered, just dumped in a box much larger than the serving size. Not what I expected for the cost. Again, main meal was great.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Neely House. My husband enjoyed every bite of the Sawmill (two poached eggs on top of sausage gravy over a lightly herbed biscuits). I also enjoyed my Herbed Hand on Brioche with a red potato/sweet potato hash. The sandwich was delicious and huge; I could only eat half. We also enjoyed desert of apple custard wrapped in a green mirror glaze to keep the custard in the apple shape on a bed of chocolate cake crumbs then wrapped in a spun sugar. It was a real treat!

We just finished our Valentines meal at the Neely House. We had a great experience. The meal was so good. My wife ordered from the special 4 course Valentines menu. She started with the crab cake appetizer followed by the bibb salad and she had the stuffed trout as her main and then finished with the mixed berry crème brûlée. She loved the trout. I had a taste and it was fantastic. I ordered from the menu and started with the Cajun mussels, which were the the best I've ever had. I had the lobster bisque which was really good. I wished I saw a little piece of lobster meat but I know in some prep you don't have that. My main was the maple bourbon duck. I knew it was good because my wife had it before but it was wonderful. I finished with the pot of crème. It was the best chocolate pudding on the bottom of a little ball pint jar followed on top with vanilla crème and then chantilly crème above that. I wish I could have had more to take home. We were very happy and full when we got done. Thank you Josh for greeting us and to Bree our outstanding server. Thank you chef and staff behind the scenes.

I can’t believe I have never sat down and reviewed one of my favorite restaurants. The food is out of this world good (I love the shrimp and grits and the sawmill Benedict) and the drinks are even better. My wife and I always sit at the bar and chat with Cam about life, booze, and that one cello guy that used to play on the patio.I love this place and I try to go as often as I can!

Everything was excellent. From the appetizers, to the service, to the desserts I wouldn't ask for anything different. This is the best food I've eaten in Muncie. I would use any excuse to come back here.

Arrived with reservations someone finally showed up to show us to our table. Server wasn't having fun this evening, not sure of having a bad day or if they're just snooty. Very limited and average wine by the glass selection, disappointed. Water was brought out some very average roles were brought out. Ended up choosing the swordfish it was fantastic. They rave about the bar and the mixologist not impressed the after-dinner drink was so so. They do have a very deep whiskey Bourbon and scotch selection. The building itself is gorgeous old mansion with a little finesse and polishes place could be five stars and more.

We had an excellent meal at the Neely House. We are very happy they are back open with a complete menu. We stopped in earlier in the year and they just weren't ready yet with all of their great options. We had the lobster bread pudding for an appetizer and my wife had the duck and I had the rib eye. All were great. If you want to get away from the big city and try something unique. Come to the Neely house in Muncie. You won't be disappointed.
