The food here is amazing—no complaints at all on that front. That’s why it’s tough to only give 2 stars. I drove from Anderson to Muncie last night just for this spot, only to find the doors locked around 10 PM, even though the posted hours said they were open until 11.
What really made it disappointing was that there was no sign or explanation—just an employee inside watching us try to open the door. A simple notice or update would’ve gone a long way. Definitely left feeling let down after making the whole drive.

Absolutely amazing food. The prices are great, as well. I love the Cajun bread and the cookies are the perfect ending to a filling and tasty meal.
Signage at location says closes at 7pm, so I wasted a trip.

I don't get this place. They charge a ton of money for a single scoop of gumbo. You leave feeling cheated.

Me and my gf have been on a yats kick. Sometimes she eats it a couple times a week. Both of the employees are always super nice and quickly serve us. The food is consistently good and that’s hard to find sometimes. I switch up my order sometimes but lately I’ve been getting chili cheese etouffe with crawfish and she always gets chicken mock shoe.

I went into Yats to have some good food, new experience, and study. When I went to order my food I was debating on what to get since it was my first time at Yats. The man who was taking my order kept obnoxiously saying “and what” multiple times. This whole ordeal was maybe a minute. I should’ve just walked out and not ordered. I don’t think I will ever go to Yats again if their customer service is like that.
