Neat spot; and not off the beaten path. It's right there on the main path. Nice tasting room with lots of gift shop items. No place for sitting or hanging out. Appears to be a tasting room only. But definitely a winery to put on on your list.

We really love BCW, the staff and the wines are fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Although this winery lacks the beautiful secluded views of many wineries, their prices and quality are top class. Service was super friendly and personal. Very impressed with the Autumn wines. Highly recommend a stop when visiting Brown County. Cheers ?

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Nashville recently and were very pleasantly surprised. We had the pleasure of being served by Zach, who was knowledgeable, attentive and super personable. He made our day! The wines we tried were very good, and the seating outside on the patio was pleasant, despite it being a very hot and muggy day. We were so glad we stopped in!

Tastings are complimentary and you get to choose between 6-8. The person pouring was knowledgeable and personable. We picked out a few very tasty wines. They were also quite reasonable.

Brianna was so informative & pleasant. Helped us select wines she thought we'd like, and she was right! It was such a great experience, we will be back! Thanks, Brianna!

Great place and great wines. Service is wonderful. Brought a little lite lunch with us and sat on the patio. They are dog lovers for sure. Bought six bottles to take home.

An awesome place for both a big group or inner circle of friends to enjoy time together and have great wine. The staff is amazing and very friendly which keeps us coming back over and over.

I almost feel like the wine is too inexpensive. The quality I'd pretty good and it's a fun experience with friendly people. I'm thankful this place exists.

I've been to their smaller shop in downtown Nashville many times and surprisingly, never to this location even though we drive by it going in and out of Nashville. My better half and I were in the area, headed towards Bloomington. He surprised me by pulling in the BC Winery. He knows how much I love stopping at the one in town so this was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted when we walked in and the staff was pleasant and kind. I was rushing a bit as I knew he wanted to go to an antique shop in Bloomington so this was a grab and go visit.Vista Red - has been a hands down must buy as long as I can recall.Vista White - had a taste and it went on the list.Apple Wine - we had bought some in town this summer and I wanted take a bottle home as part of a Christmas gift. If you like a sweeter, summery wine (that works year round)- I think you'll enjoy this one. Regretted now that we didn't take the Pinot Grigio too - but that leaves reason for another stop in the future :)Wine tasting wise - if you aren't sure what you like - ask the staff. They know the right questions to ask and will find the right match for you.

Love visit their tasting room in downtown Nashville and the winery in Gnaw Bone! I've been to Napa and tried the fancy wines at dozens of wineries, tried international wines in other countries, etc... but Brown County Winery's Vista Red will always be my favorite of all! I have a sweet tooth and I suppose I don't have a traditional wine palette--but this Indiana girl LOVES BC wines. The fact that they're pet friendly and the employees treat my pup like a special guest makes my day. He's always welcome in both locations and it gives us something fun to do in town even in the colder months that he can be included in. I don't think any of the other wineries in town offer free tastings either so that's just another reason to love them. It's just down the road from my childhood home where my parents still live so I try to visit often and always grab a bottle for special occasions/holidays. Their berry wines are great too, so be sure to visit and taste when you're in the area!

My husband and I have been to brown country state park and downtown nashville about a million times, but we never had a chance to stop at this winery until now. We did a wine tasting, which was complimentary by the way... that's awesome! We loved pretty much every one we tried so we ended up buying a case of 12 different wines. Everything was very reasonably priced. Also did a little shopping in the little store. They had some really cute Christmas gifts for my girls at work! We then decided to take a bottle and some snacks onto their patio area. Such a nice relaxing afternoon getaway! Can't wait to go back!
