Everything on line said they were open, we even called and it just said to leave a message. We drove all the way there (40 minutes out of our way) and it looks permanently closed!
When I’m visiting Indiana this is my go to for great food, great folks with a small southern town feel.

Property does have somewhat of a rustic charm, but it does not have a running water bathroom, which could be a serious problem for lots of folks (portable outhouse only).
The food and drink are fantastic. The people are friendly.
One of the most difficult things is you never know when they're going to be open. We live just a few miles away, so I go by there all the time, so sometimes we hope to eat a meal there instead of cooking at home. So if you're relying on them for food and you don't have a plan b, you should call ahead. I think they're trying to be open Thursday through Saturday, but sometimes they're closed when they should be open, etc.
Recently they have remodeled the building, but I haven't been there this season to see if the inside has changed.
Obviously, I'd like to see if they could get the septic system and the bathroom installed, also, a nice fire pit on a cool evening would be very inviting.

Whether there is live music or not, this is a GREAT spot in the heart of Brown County. The food is top notch, the beer selection offers something for everyone and the staff are very friendly.

Unique pizza combos that are well done and tasty. Large selection of beer. One of a kind dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We had dinner there tonight and it was absolutely delicious!! I had pizza and it was amazing, my friend had a burger and homemade French fries and she said they were delicious!! We definitely will be back!!

You know those hole in the wall spots that are great? Yep. This is the place to go. You must try the pork tenderloin. It is advertised as a sandwich but it’s a huge hunk of meat with the fixings to make a sandwich if you’d like.
