Two eggs cooked to order. Your choice of sausage, bacon, or ham and a side of biscuits and gravy and toast.

Hobnob Soups & Salads
Pepper Steak Soup
Steak trimmings are cooked in a rich brown sauce flavored with mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers. Topped with a dollop of sour cream.
Hobnob Onion Soup
Made with lots of Spanish onions sautéed slowly in butter. Steeped in chicken consommé. Topped with a slice of whole wheat bread and cheeses browned under the broiler.
Black Bean Soup
Thick, hearty, and flavorful. Served on rice. Topped with a dollop of Picante sauce.
Spinach Salad
Lots of fresh spinach with parmesan, bacon, sliced egg, red onions, mushrooms, and croutons. Given our house dressing. Depending upon the availability of good fresh spinach.
Green Salad
A toss of mesclun with other greens, meat, cheese, and other garnishes.
Chicken Salad
Chicken breast is combined with apples, celery, chutney, mayonnaise, and seasoned with curry.

Hobnob Sandwiches
Grilled Cheese
American cheese on whole wheat, onion dill, or white bread. Choice of fresh vegetables or steak fries.
Open Faced Vegetarian
Fresh avocado, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mushrooms are placed on whole wheat bread with mayonnaise, covered with cheddar cheese melted under the broiler. Subject to availability of ripe avocados.
Smoked Sausage
Quarter pound of smoked polish sausage on our bakery bun garnished with green pepper, onion, tomato. Choice of vegetables or steak fries.
Open Faced Turkey
Sliced breast of turkey on whole-wheat toast with lettuce, bacon, tomato, topped with mozzarella melted under the broiler.
Cheeseburger
One-third pound lean ground beef with cheese, garnished with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Choice of fresh vegetables or steak fries.
Rube Martin
Corned beef layered with fresh sauerkraut and imported aged emmental cheese. Grilled on our onion-dill bread. Choice of fresh vegetables or steak fries.
Breaded Tenderloin
All meat with light breading is served on our own bakery bun. Choice of vegetables or steak fries.
Open Faced Steak Sandwich
An eight-ounce certified Angus sirloin steak marinated and grilled with mushrooms and onions is placed on top of a buttered and grilled slab of our own cabin white bread. Choice of vegetables or steak fries.
Tuna Melt
Tuna salad, tomato, mushrooms, alfalfa sprouts on toasted whole wheat bread, covered with cheese melted under the broiler.

Hobnob Specialties
Spinach Lasagna
Lasagna noodle layered with cream cheese, marinara, spinach, and mozzarella. Served with vegetables. All vegetarian.
Pot Roast
Beef long-simmered until tender. Served with its own juices and braised vegetables.
Spaghetti
Rich tomato sauce loaded with Italian sausage and simmered with herbs to mellow flavors. Served with garlic bread.
Quiche
Good things in crust filled with creamy custard. An old friend made right.
Chicken Mandarin
Sliced chicken breast stir-fried with snow peas, oranges, and almonds. A savory sauce of soy, orange juice, and tomato lends snap. Served with vegetables.
Liver and Onions
Two slices of beef liver were lightly dredged. Sauteed in butter with lots of onions and liberal splashes of red wine. Served with vegetables. For those of you who never get this dish at home.
Chicken Picante
Breaded chicken breast fried then topped with our own Picante sauce, melted cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. Served with vegetables.
New York Strip Steak
Center cut, 12 ounce certified Angus beef rubbed with black pepper and olive oil, and pan-seared to order.

Desserts
New York Style Cheesecake
Rich, creamy filling in a crumb crust.
Chocolate Sundae
Vanilla layered with chocolate syrup and topped with real whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a maraschino cherry.
Bread Pudding
Bread cooked in creamy custard with nutmeg and happy raisins.
Coffee Toffee Pie
A Delicious coffee and chocolate-flavored filling in a special crust.

We were in Nashville for the day and a concert in the evening. Dinner and service was excellent. My husband loves liver and onions and it was the best he’s ever had anywhere! I even liked it. Highly recommend!

Very cute and historical restaurant, but very unorganized. When we walked in no one greeted us. There was a sign that said please wait to be seated, but everyone was just standing around and it didn’t say to check in anywhere. There was one man at a register up front, someone walked and politely asked what the wait was and he ignored her. Eventually we saw that he had a notebook and was taking names, but he never asked us for our information we had to approach him. However,...

The Steak and Pepper Soup was excellent. My wife enjoyed her Tacos of the Day, which were pork tacos with pickled cabbage, cilantro, and Bacon jam. The place had this old style charm and even the hard wood floor is uneven. Great place to eat
