Get your choice of cone or dish, then just try to decide which homemade ice cream to try first, for the second scoop try a second kind and if you dare add a third scoop. I’ve tried almost every flavor they serve and never been left with disappointment. Each flavor seams better than the last. Sit inside and enjoy the air conditioning and refreshing atmosphere. This is my favorite place to take a break before going back visiting other shops.

Tiny shop and lines out the door. Don't be fooled though, the line does move quite fast. I had mint chocolate chip ice cream in a cake cone. Their ice cream is very creamy and I'd describe the chocolate chips as more milky than dark. I prefer dark chocolate chips, so not my fav.

My favorite ice cream place in town! Such a cute, old school vibe and I love the piano at the entrance. The apple butter ice cream is to-die-for and I love to order it as a milkshake. The persimmon pudding is great too! Free self serve water has always been a plus. My favorite ice cream shop since I was a little girl. Very quick service too. There have been some times over the past few years where they have had unexpected closures--probably due to staffing. Might not be bad idea to call ahead if this is a major stop for your day trip to Nashville--especially in the slow season as they might not be open every day.
We were looking for a local place that sold great ice cream! You will not be disappointed. Fun flavors. It's expensive, but totally worth it. Also, check when they are open - hours are limited. We found that travelling to Nashville during the week definitely gave us limited options for dining. Many places were closed the first part of the week.
