This place has the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in the entire 40 years I've been on this Earth. If you're looking for quality and family friendly this is definitely the place.
The Nashville General Store is an absolute gem! I grew up visiting Nashville, including the general store, and 20 years later it maintains the charm and nostalgia I grew up loving. I’m now a Nashville local and love popping into the General Store for their delicious fried chicken sandwich and other goodies! The bread, crispy chicken, and fresh veggies are unforgettable and made with quality ingredients. The owner and staff always welcome me and my husband with positivity and smiles. ♥️
This place is beautiful and the food is great!
Had the pork tenderloin, not done Indiana style, however it was large and filling... Perhaps a little oily.
As for the store component, not much there at the moment.
Best pecan pie I have ever had. We met the owner, and she was incredibly friendly and kind! Definitely worth a stop when you are in Brown County.
The owners of the Nashville General Store and Bakery are doing an Incredible job. The General.
Is back to where I hoped it would be when I first visited five years ago. Now the food is amazing. The decor is so inviting. Shopping is fantastic. The service is the best ever. Good job Ya all!! We will see you again soon.
The food was good, but service was poor.
Beware, the restaurant has no restrooms for patrons. I am not sure I have ever been to a restaurant without restrooms.
The food showed up on paper plates, with plastic forks and Styrofoam cups. For my pancakes, they brought a couple syrup packs. For a restaurant that wants to project a down-home atmosphere, it comes across as a fast-food joint.
We ordered coffees, but my wife asked for a glass of water, too. The waitress said they only offer bottled water, which would have been $2.25.
There are better restaurants in the area. Don't waste your time here.
Fantastic. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had, and the FUDGE!!! Simply amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Can't wait to go back ❤️
We love coming to the Nashville General Store and Bakery. All the food Ronna and Jason make is so good, especially all the cobblers and muffins. Their food menu is excellent and then you can shop the store after dining.
Ronna is a beautiful hardworking soul and I learn how to be better just talking with her. She is an inspiration to me! Go visit!
Great place

I've always loved this store. I keep going back.
We had an order of fried biscuits with apple butter and they were perfection! Better than the place up the hill. They were not greasy, very fluffy and flavorful. We had cappuccino and they had just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. I only wish I had ordered more to take home. The owner was very friendly. We placed our order, paid, went out on the patio ate outside and they brought it out to us.
Great sausage gravy, cinnamon roll & crepes!! We loved it all .
Three years ago I proposed to my lovely wife. Andy over breakfast. Under new ownership, just as good, just as friendly. and as our chef superior said, we don’t allow no sloppy bacon round here! And to her husband, COOK THAT MEAT! Truer words never spoken, thanks for a great weekend!!!
very ma and pa feel, wonderful service and scratch food!!
