“Just ate there for the first time. Would highly recommend this place. The spinach salad is fantastic with sliced almonds, craisins and some kind of thinly sliced radish. Ate real scrambled eggs and real hickory smoked bacon. Greens were great. Beef brisket was tender, juicy and flavorful. Service was exceptional. Cody was our server and he was very attentive - clearing used dishes and keeping our water glasses full. Overall a great restaurant!!“

Another great example of how freshness impacts craft breweries more than a lot of other packaged products. I am not a frequent buyer of Against the Grain as a packaged product, but I would drink this beer anytime on draft, especially at the brewery or pub! Great work!“

“Great food for carnivores and vegetarians. I chose to go while in the area because their menu made specific mention of special consideration for vegetarians. Not only did they make a point of labeling food that was vegetarian, they also had options that could enhance some of the vegetarian dishes. I found the combination of ingredients for the nachos to be really good and the option for fried tofu to be a unique and great choice. I ate way more than I should but they were really good… and had a high level of plant based protein which is hard to find in most vegetarian dishes.“

“The sours are all fire! The novelty beers were hot or miss but the ones that are good were super fun and creative, all quite sweet though. I didn't try any of the more conventional beers so these might be good too. The atmosphere is super cute!“

“I've only been vegan for 4 months but was so excited to eat at V-Grits because there are no vegan restaurants where I live so I hadn't eaten out for quite some time. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich with fries and was not disappointed. fries were perfectly fried and the seasoning was wonderful. The cheesesteak was the best I've ever had, even before going vegan. If I hadn't known before ordering, I would never have believed it was vegan. Sooo yummy!“
