Far exceeded my expectations. But you get what you pay for. Going back again next week. My h better steaks than the "premier" big city steakhouse chains.

Beautiful restaurant! I love the bar, it has a classic retro vibe. But, come for the food! I have had multiple items on menu, & I have never been disappointed. I love shrimp cocktail & theirs is top-notch. The latest thing I have ordered is the Amish chicken. The skin was crispy and the chicken was tender. So good!

First of all the service was great! The Old Fashion was top notch. The rest went down hill. The Filet was cooked perfect, but almost too salty to eat. The Asparagus was ok. The Shrimp Cocktail was very average, soggy and small. If you are trying to compete with Jeff Rubys, you better step up your game. we spent almost $500 for an average meal. Most likely won't be back.

First visit and last visit. I ordered the Amish chicken which was unflavored and dry. My husband had the same experience with his chicken, a real disappointment. Wine list was dismal, very few choices in white wines. The best part of the meal was the vegetables served with the chicken. Will never return.

Beautiful upscale restaurant. Good food, nice menu. The staff is very very nice, respectful, and attentive. However no one has ever trained them as fine dining techniques and that is sad. They check in often but ask to take away plates before they are finished. Mid fork in mouth. Push to clear the table. Bring the next course when you haven't finished what you have in front of you. They were accommodating when they saw I had ordered myself the short ribs and didn't realize it was ravioli. But pushed the desert before entries were finished.. pushed the check when it was never asked for and we were still eating. Asked to box food three times. There were open tables and no one was waiting..This lack of proper service etiquette is very common in southern Indiana and Louisville. I wish I could go in and train the staff for free.I want to reiterate the staff was kind, attentive and respectful. But their parents never taught them fine dining etiquette, nor management . I think this area has rolled silverware because no one one would know how to properly set a table. It still matters and is expected. If you want to be in the upper category of restaurants and charge the high prices teach your staff the flow of proper service. Teach them that when someone is ready for you to take a plate their fork will be upside down on a plate, not heading to their mouth. Teach them to serve from the left clear from the right. Be responsible for kitchen timing for the next course as you watch the timing of your guests.Again it if not just here. It's mostly everywhere with a few restaurants with excellent service. It's not just about being nice and smiling y'all. It's about educating your predominantly extremely young staff who's parent don't have a clue either. We got there about 10 minutes early. We were unable to get a drink while we waited.Parking: We parked on the street. Not sure if there was a lot.Kid-friendliness: There were very well behaved well dressed young children eating with a larger table.

We had a lovely meal on a special occasion. Kristen deserves a shout out for a great wine recommendation and she knew when to come to the table and when to let us enjoy our dinner.

Went here for our one year anniversary! Really great atmosphere, good spot for a romantic evening with talented musicians. Will definitely be coming here more often.

An upscale restaurant and bar with a lovely ambience throughout. We had an excellent server who kindly allowed us to sit and catch up with friends before ordering. We all ordered something different and all happy with our choices: shrimp cocktail, baked goat cheese, caesar salad, salmon, chicken, ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, parmesan truffle frites, & bread pudding for dessert...all excellent. Our only complaint would be with our drinks. The Le Monsch was missing the mint and the Nevermore was missing the luxado cherry. No big deal. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely love this place. Cocktails and food were amazing and our server Alyssa was wonderful. This may be a steakhouse, but the tuna tartare is a standout! Will come back every chance I get!

took my family to this "fine dining/steak house" last night. one of the totally worse food experiences I've had in my life! their signature meals , steak were all lacking flavor, all but one executed wrong temp, and a sirloin pice that couldn't even be chewed just inferior details, lacking seasoning and poor cuts of meat! the mashed potatoes were warm, cool center and consistency of paste, possibly instant or just microwaved to heat? But any restaurant can have an off night, the bigger issue was the lack of professional response by the server, when asked to take my plate just missing two bites , i replied inedible she asked if wanted a to go box? No curtesy, token apology just removed plate? I will compliment their special offered appetizer board a absolutely perfect offering and sampling of meats & cheese and in comparison to their menu pricing remarkable $10 surprise. The cocktails also good, as was the bread all else fast food chain grade steaks i.e Applebees! I ordered an amber ale dray something dark came out asked about it to server came back and said" no its an amber ale she checked?" But the bigger insult for this $300 experience was when leaving at desk asked for a manager , a young lady approached as such i offered my conclusions of tge dining experience, she somewhat offered a token apology but then no comment! I assume this must be a reglar situation faced and just what they are, as a visitor from out of state visiting family we went with the local reviews and surely didnt research enough, after reading Yelp found other dissatisfaction . Too bad if could execute the written menu might have been enjoyable! Such a grande bad decision , lesson learned! Dinners be ware... Bob, from Denver , CO

Had the Korean chicken and waffles my Gf had the burger. The Korean chicken was very tasty and well cooked. I enjoyed it. Being part Korean I def give this dish a big thumbs up. I do sort of skeptically oversee the use of waffles and eggs with the high end steak as a gimic to use cheap food items with the high end to save food cost. It's smart but I feel smarter people can see through it. My gf had the smash burger I don't know IF it can be cooked to order but she was not asked. It was well done we assume they all are and very much over cooked I don't know if they are always well done or communication mistake we were never asked it could have tasted much better at a medium. It still had good taste but very much over cooked. The drinks were great the butcher Bloody Mary and double mimosa Serve and ambience were top notch. Well decorated great service. Overall it was nice but the food was a little dissapointing. As of now we would not return . We might check out the bar sometime as the drinks were great. Overall a very good attempt but food wise falls just a little short.

We had a large group for a customer appreciation dinner. We started at the upstairs bar with drinks an then they took us to our tables downstairs. It was a really nice roomWe had a preplanned menu. Food was excellent. I really enjoyed the pecans that were on one of the appetizers.
