This beautiful bakery was a fantastic find during our weekend getaway in New Albany. Suggested by our Airbnb hosts, we grabbed breakfast and coffee from here Friday morning and it was incredible! My husband got the Buttered Pecan French Toast and I got the Americana both of which were delicious! Their homemade sourdough bread was to die for! We also split a cream cheese Danish that was out of this world. We sat at the "bar" and the owners chatted with us while we ate and shared some of their backstory. Very sincere and kind people! Their staff was super friendly. The experiences as a whole was just fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!!
The staff is welcoming from the moment you walk in and until you leave. Food is superb, thanks to a top notch chef. Pastries and breads are delicious, thanks to an amazing baker. Love the atmosphere, makes you feel at home. One of my new favorite places after church on Sunday.

My daughter and I randomly stopped by here to see if they had cinnamon rolls, and OMG these cinnamon rolls were AMAZING to put it lightly!! They were decently priced, at a little less than $4 each. They come in a nice little box (because they're THAT big) and lots of cream cheese icing (I'm guessing) covering the entire roll!! We will for sure be back! One part we didn't so much like, was being told they only sell the cinnamon rolls on Saturdays!! You must try this bakery out for yourself!! :)
Parking: Friendly staff members, lots of places to sit and enjoy your coffee or bakery items and plenty of space, so everyone's not crowded! There was even tables and chairs outside too!

Good pastries but do not ask for anything more advanced than drip coffee here. The girl who helped me didn't know what a cappuccino was, yet still tried to make me one..Tried being the key word.
All I have to say is WOW. Come see for yourself. #thefood

Best fresh food, homemade with love. The breads are amazing you can tell extra care was taken in the process. Exceptional club sandwich & side salad. Lemon thyme vinegrette dressing was delicious. Coffee is always a go to. Love the ambience, the chatter of happy workers & customers. Workers singing along to nice music, at a perfect noise level. The touch of floral on tables, very welcoming & sweet. Oh & the pumpkin scone 😋

The GOAT for New Albany restaurants. The Maxeys and their staff are marvelously talented chefs/bakers who's dishes never disappoint. In the 4 years I've been eating there I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal.

First try was great. Staff and owners were very personable/friendly and helpful. Food was prepared fast and the breakfast burrito was top 2, not 2 my list of breakfast burritos. The sausage is made in house and was really good. Highly recommend giving it a try for the food. Baked goods looked amazing as well.

This place is the best place to go for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It's a very small Cafe setting with an outstanding kitchen. Everything is made in view across the bar seating, and has always been made to perfection.
The coffee menu is full of perfectly brewed hit and iced coffees. The French Toast that I had was massive and was probably the best I've ever had. My brother had the breakfast burrito that was stuffed fool of light, fluffy egg and bacon (though you have optipns!) that was also perfect. I can't use the word "perfect" enough in this review.
The staff and owner are all incredibly friendly and customer service is superb.
5/5, 10/10, easily an every week breakfast spot.
