“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

“it's pretty much the best community driven thing since ever. the super dope friendly regulars come, well, regularly, and the trolls who try to ruin it for everyone realize no one wants them here so they don't come back. it's this vicious cycle of good vibes feeding into themselves that has created this incredible community. the alcovians are we like to call ourselves. if you're like me and not usually social, check out the karaoke bar next door first and loosen up there and then migrate on over to alcove when you feel more comfortable! don't even get me started on the food. papu chos is THE BEST food I've had in my life. “This place was amazing ! The food was great. Everything top notch. Kids had chicken strips, sweet potato fries, broccoli, and fish nuggets with tots. Great portion size for them and taste was delicious . We had the beer cheese Philly and the chicken cordon bleu with onion rings. All very good.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“On Saturday night ( May 31st, 2025), I dined inside with my granddaughter and son-in-law. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Attentive staff. The 3 of us had different calzones and shared an order of ( huge!) breadsticks. All agreed that everything was delicious!! Reasonably priced, too! Definitely will be going back!“

“Neat place which used to be a service station. The bar was well stocked with many options. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We had reservations, but they still didnt have a server for us, so one of our team members took our orders and put them in at the bar. The burger and pepperoni pizza were good. Trendy place, limited street parking.“
