Yeah, never again actually. We got there around 8pm last night, 2.5 hours until closing, our waitress was incredibly rude, asking us “what do you want” one minute after sitting down ? I was trying to read the menu and she sat drinks, chips and queso all down on my menu as I’m reading it ? my 14 year old daughter asked me why she was being so rude and huffing as we were finally ordering. End of meal she bring out check and as I’m dipping a chip and in MID BITE she’s waving the receipt in my face to grab it, figured she might want to put it down on my plate since she was putting everything else right in front me lol. She refused to put it down, so I awkwardly grab the receipt with my other hand as I continue to stuff a chip on my face and at that point I just slammed the receipt down on the table in the big empty open space she could have set it down at ?
Then she must have went around the corner and said something to her fellow employees because two men came around the corner and looked over the booth at us ? it was all extremely rushed and kinda awkward in there. When we walked in my nephew had a hard time pulling the double doors open so I opened them and they sat at the front stared at us and laughed ? Not worth it. Not expensive, standard mediocre Mexican food with some serious bad energy.
Way over priced!!

We have been family wide customers at this store for over a decade. It has always been our go to for family dinners. This visit our server made a mistake on our bill. When we tried to have it corrected at the register the manager was absolutely rude, disrespectful, and condescending. We will not be back.

Went to pick up margaritas. Handed the guy my Driver license. he asked for an alternate ID (I gave him my credit & debit card with the same name as my ID) he proceeded to be soooo unnecessarily rude. He accused me of having a fake ID (I’m about to be 22). Terrible service, and he kept berating me until I told him I don’t even want the drinks anymore. So I went to Puerto Vallarta in Jeffersonville instead. They agreed he was ridiculous, had no problem verifying my real ID and they took care of me!!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Very fast service, friendly waiter, and nice spaced-out restaurant. I ordered the IS Special (arroz con pollo) and thought it was very good. My boyfriend had enchiladas and opted for grilled chicken instead of shredded. We were both pleased with their grilled chicken and would definitely order the same dishes again. I wasn’t a huge fan of their cheese dip (queso) but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and the service we received. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in New Albany again!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in southern indiana. Sometimes the service is a little sketchy but most of the time it's not

I have eaten here many times and love the food, but after yesterday I'm not going back. Simply put, I found a long hair in my food -- no big deal, these things happen. I wasn't upset or angry but reported it to the waiter and asked if I could get a discount for what I had just experienced. The manager soon came out to tell me there was no one serving me whose hair matched what I had found. Though he acknowledged it didn't match my hair either.
While paying my bill the manager again asserted that the hair didn't match anyone at the restaurant and accused me by saying "maybe you are a liar". After pointing out to him again that the hair was clearly not mine, he offered that perhaps I "brought a hair and put it into the food."
I'm a late career professional who was there eating lunch with a PhD biologist. Why would I plant a hair in my food? There was no reason to treat me, or anyone else, with this kind of disrespect. I left there wondering if he treats customers this way, how does he treat the employees?

This place is ignorant of ADA law regarding people with disabilities. I have a service dog (SD) for a non-visible disability and I had a horrible experience this past Saturday here. As soon as I walked in the door, all of the staff (about 3) immediately started talking to each other in very loud voices and called a manager over who very angerly demanded that I show her paperwork. I states "Ma'am he is my service dog trained to alert to my medical condition." She said, "No papers? You can't bring him." I tried to explain, that federal law does not require papers for service dogs, but she insisted, so I gave her a card explaining the service dog laws and advised her to contact the regional ADA office for further questions.
She grudgingly gave us a seat, but it was in a far corner away from other customers, they brought us broken chips and super hot salsa. When I asked if they had mild salsa, the waiter sarcastically said "Sure." Our food was brought out very fast and was very tasty, however it was sort of tossed in front of us like we had the plague.
During all of this, my SD was under control, well-behaved, and when we got our seat was lying down under the table and not in any customer or staff member's way. Prior to this incident we had been in this restaurant 3 times in 2024. My SD never behaved poorly or in a manner that would have given this business any reason to act this way towards me. The staff even had commented on how well behaved he was.
I am providing photos of some of the Indiana Code regarding service dogs in hopes that management of this facility will see it and educate themselves and staff to keep this from happening to someone else.
Wheelchair accessibility: While there is wheelchair access, I don't recommend those with disabilities go here based on the unfriendliness of the staff towards me and my use of a SD.

The last 4 times I have ate here they wanna argue with me and tell me I'm wrong. I alwaysborder a veggie C which is a bean tostada, bean buritto and cheese enchilada. I starred asking for the tostada to be on a seperate plate so it doesn't get soggy from all the cheese topping on the other stuff. They literally bright out the hardshell tortilla on a seperate plate and put all the topping for the tostada on the same plate with the other stuff. I told them I asked for the tostada to be on a seperate plate so that when I eat it it's not soggy. He said it will always be soggy becuase they water down the beans. It's been soggy unless they put it with the cheese sauce o the other plate. Then proceeds to tell me thqt the tostada is just the shell that if I meant I wanted it all I should have said chalupa. IT SAYS IN THE MENU BEAN TOSTADA NOT CHALUPA. this was our favorite Mexican restaurant but I will not be eating here anymore becuase theyxalways wanna prove me wrong when I am reading it off the menu. I'm not gonna call a tostada that I ordered a chalupa if it isn't one. It's not that hard to understand I wanted the tostada on a side plate so it's not soggy.
