Food was good and the games were fun to play despite some being out of order. My problem was with having to sit at the bar to eat and the fact the waitress barely came around to us. When we paid she left with the money and, I'm assuming, wasn't bringing back change even though I asked for it which was rather shady in my opinion. Finally got my change when I got her attention after nearly 10 minutes while she was standing around so make sure and watch yourself when it comes to paying especially at the bar.

Food was very disappointing. Everything we ordered was overcooked. Mac n cheese was mushy and the fried food was almost burnt. For the prices you would expect better. Our first visit will most likely be our last.

We really enjoyed the food! Service was a bit lacking but friendly. While it was very noisy, it's an arcade. What else would I expect? It was fun reliving the 1980s with the games & also finding most were still a quarter.

I really hate to give such a low review. If it wasn’t for my love of arcades and the vibe of a childhood long past, I’d rated it even lower. I love the old games and the nostalgia. It’s actually set up nicely and has a great vibe. The complaints come with the maintenance here. Multiple games not working. (Taking money, controls not functioning properly, or machines just off completely). I feel like this place has all of the potential to be something great. However, these old machines have to be maintained better and it wouldn’t hurt to add a few newer games in the mix. In comparison with other arcade like venues in Indiana and Louisville, Recbar 812 is behind. The nostalgia is definitely there but what’s the point if the purpose of the establishment isn’t functional as it should be. The food is decent but not the best. The menu needs a revamp and the games repaired. Other than that the potential is there. This is a place 70s, 80s, and maybe even some 90s babies can appreciate. The young kids not so much and that’s a reason to add a few modern games in. With the other competitors around this place falls short for a place to take your children.

Food was epic, we got frosted flakes chicken with tots, our buddies got a great waffle ice cream fruity pebbles dessert. It's loud, but it's also got a very arcade vibe, so know that going in. Family friendly.

Tried the frosted flake tenders, mini burgers and cheeseburger totchos. Everything was delicious. Restaurant was very busy but service was still very fast. My only complaint is that several of the games weren't working but other than that we had a great time!

Our waitress was awful. Most of thr games didn't work. We wanted to pay for our food and leave and the waitress kept trolling saying, "your money's no good here I'll get you an apron and you can help me bus tables".It was for a surprise birthday party we had 14 people there and we wanted to leave. Stop playing. It was an awful experience.

Had a great time with friends and family. The recbar is a great place to play various arcade games. The customer service and waitress was very friendly. The Napoleon tater tots we ordered had good flavor, however they were cold and most were rock hard / over cooked. This means that they overcooked the tater tots so at some point they were piping hot, but just sat waiting for a long period of time. Aesthetically they are pleasing, but need improvement.
