Had some coneys here and a fry which tasted great. The chefs here stick to the formula which is always appreciated. I was a bit disappointed with the cost as 2 coneys alone are 6 dollars but add a fry on to that and it's 15 bucks not including tip. Why is a fry 9 dollars?

Matthew May's Review of Skyline Chili - New Albany, INUpon entering the Skyline Chili on Grant Line Rd, I was greeted with prompt service, a beacon of hope for the meal to come. Unfortunately, the chili itself dashed those hopes with remarkable efficiency. The chili, which I suspect was canned, lacked the depth and heartiness one craves from such a classic dish. It was, in blunt terms, a profound disappointment and easily ranks as some of the worst chili I've had the misfortune to taste. The hotdogs did little to redeem the situation. The meat was lackluster, and the cheese - a critical component of any self-respecting hotdog - was a letdown. It failed to deliver the melty, comforting experience I anticipated. However, not all was lost. The buffalo chicken salad provided a glimmer of redemption with its decent flavors and textures. It was a satisfactory dish that could stand to see some improvements but was nonetheless enjoyable. The true star of the meal, surprisingly, came in the form of funnel fries. These sweet treats were a delight, perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, warm interior. They were the sole dish from Skyline Chili that I would willingly return for.In summary, while the service at Skyline Chili was commendable, the majority of the menu items I sampled were underwhelming. The establishment would do well to revisit the recipes for their chili and hotdogs, but they should certainly keep the funnel fries as a staple offering.

This place has become an undesirable restaurant.when I started coming here years ago. It was nice and bright, welcoming. The owner and his wife were always there and it seemed that the servers behaved themselves. but tonight when I went in. It was not welcoming service was sub. Par food was also sub par and there was a young man walking around with his britches hanging so low that the long shirt he had on barely covered the fact that he obviously had either his underwear Or butt sticking out of his pants. He was hollering across the room to a group of people who had come in and sat down at a table to get their drink order instead of walking over there. I will not be coming back here.

Cincinnati chili is different from what I'm used to, but it was very good! Even our picky kiddos enjoyed their food. I think the fries were a bigger hit with them, though. Our server was just as sweet as she could be and the whole staff was very polite and attentive to our every need.
