I tried twice to give our local bakery business and twice I had to go elsewhere to make my purchase. I called last week to see if they had or could make a coconut cream pie - whoever answered the phone didn’t know and had to check then told me very rudely no. A couple years ago I called to inquire about a banana cake & they had to check because they weren’t sure and I was told it was a “specialty cake” and that a 9” round cake would be $65.00. So much for supporting a local small town business.

Dropped by here on a Saturday morning on our way to South Bend as we were looking for some quick morning sugar to wake us up. The lady working the desk was nice. Our group all got a donut each. I found my donut to be solid, but definitely not the best I've ever had. I will say that the sizing of the donuts is a little larger than I'm used to so I think you get a good bang for your buck.

We were excited to see the bakery was open today so we decided to indulge ourselves and support a small local business. What a disappointment. We got 6 specialty donuts, 2 long johns, 2 Bismarck, and 2 jelly. It was $15 for the 6 of them but ok, small business and good donuts are worth it right? Boy were we wrong!!! such a disappointment!!!!! They jelly ones were fair at best, the other 4 were awful. Filling was nonexistent, less than a tablespoon!! I pulled it apart to see if there was anything in there. They were dry and crust, tastes worse than day old. I've never had yeast donuts that were so dry they were crumbly when your tried to eat them. Truely a disappointment and waste of money.
