Wonderful “hole in the wall” type of restaurant. The food was subpar but I do believe that was the case due to how late we showed up (1:30pm). Wonderful service and a friendly atmosphere that is kid friendly. Don’t order the water, it tastes funny.

We were on a cross-country drive and stopped to use the car charger at the library across the street. The Early Bird Diner was open for lunch, so we stopped in. They had run out of a few things, but the menu was big enough for us to find something we liked. I like diner food and would say that this was pretty good. Some of the other reviews complained about the service. I thought it good, but I should note that they weren't crowded.

Nope! Wait time was ridiculous and there no one there! So sad ? I know it’s a dream for some to own a restaurant but, being a previous restaurant owner, I can tell you, it’s not easy and it’s not for everyone and it’s certainly not for these folks but I admire your efforts. My advice.. cut bait and close shop or turn it into a bakery before you lose your mind, this is not for you!!! Good luck!

The wait time on our food took 1 hour, and the food was not worth the wait. My husband's eggs were not cooked to order.He ordered over easy, and they were cooked hard. Biscuits seemed to be a day old and were stale and hard. The fried potatoes were not cooked completely and were hard. As we waited, we watched at least 5 tables walk out because of the wait time. We would have been number 6 had our food not come out as we stood up to leave. It was the worst breakfast he had ever had. We really wanted this to be a great experience because we are locals, but unfortunately, we will not be going back.
