Overcooked clams, over-priced meal, no diet root beer anymore, no healthy potato choices anymore (baked potato) and heard server call me "trash" because I went to restroom before clearing my table to leave.

Folks here have been very courteous and pleasant to work with. Prices are high unless they have a special deal or coupons. Doors need a foyer with double door entry to reduce cold air from blowing across patrons. Difficult to be comfortable with current layout.

Visited the local Long John’s Silvers in New Castle on 1-1-24. Worst decision I made, for a quick stop while traveling. We stood at the register for a minimum of 10 min while the 2 employees doing other things behind the counter. So close to leaving but decided to wait it out. After we placed our order, we set and waited for our food for another 10 min. What really topped things off was there was absolutely no heat in the restaurant. I made a special trip to look at the thermostat, 54 deg. Unbelievable!!! The server mentioned they were waiting on a new furnace and that she knew it was too cold inside. We actually contemplated on taking our lunch to the car to eat! Won’t be back!!

Came in at 2:45 on a Sunday (12-22-24)...needless to say it wasn't busy. We were actually the ONLY ppl there. We stood at the front register and my husband even waved at the woman near the front fryer. Nothing. No greeting, no interest in serving us. So we waited even AFTER the woman up front in the Santa hat yelled and to someone in the back about staying late. Finally we left. I made sure to tell at the top of my lungs to " HAVE A GREAT DAY!!" when we left and still no one even bothered to look toward the front or take notice of us.
I FaceTime my brother after we left to make sure we hadn't died on the way to Long Johns and we hadn't been made aware yet. He let us know we were in fact still alive and visible to other humans. So now I'm wondering if this Long Johns just has the rudest and most ignorant staff ever or they just didn't want to be bothered with us. Either way, we won't go back.

I decided to get Long John silvers out of all the other food places in new castle because I live in Anderson and they took ours away. Worst decision ever. My food was literally burnt to a crisp. Unedible. I could only stomach the waffle fries. My chicken was burnt and rubbery , the hush puppies literally rock hard. I didn’t have time to go back and get a refund or wait for new food so I just took it as a loss. I paid 11 dollars and some change for the 3 piece chicken with waffle fries and extra hush puppies. This was the most disappointing meal I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time. It was like they burnt it on purpose and passed it out.

Very clean store and the cashier was VERY friendly and helpful. I think his name was John. He deserves a raise!!

Typically, love LJS. However, this last time, I spent 10 minutes in the drive through just to pull up to the window. Missy? Misty? Was the woman at the window. She couldn’t find my order. Then I spent a few minutes repeating my order over & over & over. Just to finally say I’m going to come inside. When I get inside, misty was talking to her co-workers about how I’m agitated. Never said anything that would indicate that other than just driving off. Horrible customer service & she should not be at the window or customer facing. The only reason why I’m doing 2 stars is because I heard her talking poorly about me. Aside from being busy, I can’t fault them for that. There was a new hire that took my order when I came in. She was friendly and thorough. Also, I heard the staff laughing about someone in the drive through not getting their crab cake & making a mockery of it. As I was leaving, another woman had an incorrect order. It seems like they cannot handle busy. I can give Grace, like I said, we all have our bad days, but bashing & mocking customers is horrible.
