The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean! Huge shout-out to Cameron, who was the definition of hustle—he was running around helping everybody, cleaning tables, and delivering food. This team is operating with a very small staff but they are doing a great job! Cameron's work ethic alone makes this a 5-star visit.

First time at a steak n shake in over 20 yrs. I could have gone another 20. My burger came out with ketchup and onions (which I didn't order), fries are not good. The smell of ketchup turns my stomach and it caused me to be nauseous for the 8hrs of driving I had left. The staff was great to remake it but the damage was done.

Took almost 20 minutes to get our burgers and fries, and my burger was ice cold. Nasty

2 milkshakes same price and one of them was on 3/4 of the way filled in the cup. The last two times I've came here it's been pretty disappointing

This New Castle location is very clean and everyone is incredibly polite. We got our food so quickly, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We visited at 8pm and were pleasantly supprised. The bathrooms are older, but were clean. The restaurant seating area was incredibly clean and Crystal is an incredible manager.

We stopped for a late lunch since we don’t have Steak ’n Shakes where we live anymore and were excited to visit. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The self-order kiosks were frustrating, and staff weren’t interested in helping, so I couldn’t ask questions or order what I really wanted. Even with a large group ahead of us, it took 45 minutes for three combo meals, while others who ordered after us were served first. When we asked for an update, the employee was brash and clearly annoyed, yelling to the back before saying they were “waiting on fries.” The fries were cold when they arrived—so that wasn’t true.
The burgers were also not like traditional Steak ’n Shake burgers—thicker and lacking the usual flavor. My son’s milkshake was half whipped cream. To top it off, a woman at the grill yelled at staff twice in front of customers, creating an uncomfortable scene. Overall, poor service, unprofessional behavior, and disappointing food.

Resturant and restrooms were so so dirty. They didnt get our order right, took along time to get food even though there was no other customers. Mixed ours up with somone else. Asked for extra garlic sauce on cheeseburger and extra toppings on shakes and there wasnt any toppings at all. Cheese burgers were cold like they were made at lunchtime. Bad experience!

These days going into a S&S its like pulling teeth to interact with a human. No longer do they interact with you. Everything is automated and asking a question or getting something special not available through a kiosk, like well done fries, is a labor. I miss the days of people helping people. Took a while to get our food and tables were filthy. If they aren't ringing people out, taking orders, or waiting tables then perhaps keep the restaurant clean. Oh, wait...you can't. You let folks go and now want to operate a restaurant with 3 people.
